Taking this one with a pinch of salt although as stated above out of all the newspapers the Mirror are usually spot on with our stuff. Shame really I don't think there is anyone in the league who comes close to Beckfords potential quality and if we sell him at the end of the season would feel that we have cut our nose to spite out face.

This if true is bad news. I can't see how people are saying this is what Pearson wanted. Surely if he wanted him out then he would not have played him much like the Matt Mills saga.

I understand if mods want to merge and people moaning another Beckford thread. I just sort of felt that since it was the Mirror and John Percy had mentioned it that maybe it had a bit more substance and deserved its own thread.

There are loads of stories in the papers about City, most of the time Percy's tweeted something, it has come true/ been correct.
