5waller5 Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 The players aren't half as bad as most of the fans who actually turned up today. You'd think we lost 10-0, we drew for **** sake. If tonight was OK for you then fair play to you .... you are willing to watch utter dross for your money and will defend literally anything because you think that makes you a "proper" fan.

I'm not defending it, I'm just not booing the players. I'm perfectly happy with the return I get from my season ticket, and can accept that we aren't going to win every game 4-0, thanks.
Leicester_Numan Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 At least it didnt take us long to get home. I feel sorry for the 294 Burnley fans who had a long journey home after watching that cack. Can't understand their managers attitude of coming here for a 0-0 when they had nothing to lose by playing and trying to win the game. At least their fans would have gone home entertained. There's been too many teams playing like that this season, and plenty doing it against us at their own ground not just ours. If parking the bus is the way football is going, I wont be watching it. Attendances are already dropping, if that kind of football carries on, we'll be back to 1980s attendances
Leicesterpool Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 I thought it was good game for a 0-0 draw, Bamba had a better second half than first. Marshall i thought was little poor tonight, looked tired to me!, Drinkwater wasn't much involved, Wellens i thought had ago, Beckford tried but overall had ago, Nugent I'm afraid not a great game, Kasper i'm afraid awful, Peilter pleasing performance, Dyer good first half poor second, Morgan okay performance, Konchesky reasonable game but looked tired.

I'm not defending booing your own players and have never done it .... but being happy with your return from your season ticket!?? Either you get one much cheaper than me, or you accept very low value for money .... fancy a new car, in fact anything you need?? I have a really average one you can have for an awful lot of money. You'd be a great customer.

Leicesterpool Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Is it true but I heard somebody talking in the concourse today before the game, I heard them talking about the new kit it was about Burdda apparently they've cancelled there contract with Leicester for next season. So according to them a new brand could be coming in, anyone heard this rumour.
kingfox Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 I thought it was good game for a 0-0 draw :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: Hopefully you are joking

Yes and at the end of the week they will have "drew" their ridiculous wages for a piss poor performance from mugs like you. Get real for **** sake .
Leicesterpool Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: Hopefully you are joking Wasn't has bad as Forest, I've seen a lot more boring goalless draws than that.

I don't mind, I like watching football, I support Leicester. Why someone would buy a ticket to moan for 90 minutes and shout abuse at the manager and players I'll never know. If you have a problem with the amount they earn then don't go.
kingfox Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Wasn't has bad as Forest, I've seen a lot more boring goalless draws than that. Well I haven't, and i've been a season ticket holder for 3 and half seasons, until tonight.

accessory Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Seriously you would think he would come? He'd prefer a crack at the Champions League with Celtic, no doubt. But it may not be his decision to make. There's a stack of misconduct charges against him from the SFA, so he could end up being banned from the touchline for months. And with Rangers in meltdown, there's always a risk of more letter bombs and burning crosses on his lawn. Would his family be able to cope in that atmosphere? With the health issues he's had, he may consider a change of scenery. And if Top and co are as big City fans as they say, they might just be tempted to offer one.

SeattleShane Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 This is my favourite. So you think that playing Gallagher and Howard is the answer?
Dan Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Worst game I've seen, seriously came out the Millwall game thinking if I could be arsed but said if I didn't go it'd be a cracker. What a huge waste of time. Genuinely so disillusioned with football now.
Kitchandro Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 So you think that playing Gallagher and Howard is the answer? He probably thinks playing Mills isn't the answer and that Pearson hasn't single handedly ruined our season. Because he's not insane.
RyanB89 Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 passing was woeful and we looked like the away side for large parts
Thracian Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 In that case so should 90% odd of all managers and players that ever existed. I wouldn't argue with that and believe I was the last person who offered to draw wages as manager of Leicester City on the basis of points won only - back in the days when Peter Taylor was being rewarded for abject failure.
teblin Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Might be wrong but wasn't it the burnley fan booing Gally as he used to play fog Blackburn? Didn't think there was any lack of application from the players they were trying but lacked ideas. We are not an awful team we are an average one. We need the ability to change our plan, the ball come back from both nugent and Beckford to easily and both would benefit fr having a bigan along side them. Having said that, the bag man shouldn't be Howard.
Bert Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 I thought the boos came from burnley. Anyway, we need to get off Gally's back. Some of Marshall's corners were dreadful, but no-one batted an eye lid.
Webbo Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Can't be arsed to read all the doom and gloom in the rest of this thread. Imo none of our players played badly but not especially well either. Burnley packed the midfield and defence and we lacked the spark to break them down. Having said that we did have 4 or 5 shots on target (and most of the possession) without really making their keeper exert himself. Very dull and disappointing but it wasn't for lack of effort.
Babylon Posted 18 April 2012 Posted 18 April 2012 Why don't you become a Stockport fan they have about you level of ambition , and as you said you like watching football. idiot . Someones an idiot because they don't boo the manager and players?
