FoxesFan123 Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 People need to realise that this list isn't necessarily players who clubs have 'let go'. A lot of them are players who believe they can get a better deal and refused to sign a contact extension. Ie. Danny Murphy, Danny Guthrie, Hugo Rodellega etc aren't players the clubs want to let go, in fact they have been linked with bigger prem clubs and not signed extensions.

Guthrie will do extremely well to join a bigger club than Newcastle.

Fox92 Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Just read a bit in the newspaper, which highlights all the 'big name' players that have been released. I'd certainly take a few of them. Sorry if already mentioned. Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Would love Buzacky, Andrews, Heskey and Tchoyi who are all fairly realistic.
foxesfan1989 Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Rob Green! ...Although obviously looking for a Prem move. Out of interest, would people even want him? I would stick with Kasper myself.
MGLCFC Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Three things 1) Rob Green will believe he is Prem quality so no chance him stepping down 2) I don't see that he is that much better than Kasper and would probably demand greater wages 3) I can't forgive him for his despicable celebrations at West Ham last year after the final whistle - even Peltier refused to shake his hand in disgust. So no - he won't be joining Leicester - thank God
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Rob Green as Leicester goalie? Won't happen but I'd take him here in an instant.
sdb Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 I somehow doubt he's opted to leave a Prem club to join a Championship side. Not that I really care.

Leicfox Posted 4 June 2012 Posted 4 June 2012 Darren O'Dea. Both he and Celtic have agreed that he can leave on a free transfer.
Skullfisher Posted 6 June 2012 Posted 6 June 2012 Erik Huseklepp can leave Pompey on a free if he wants to....
Lcfclee Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Oliver Norwood has left Mufc this kid looked decent last year and being a man utd youth this may happen. Fergies Fleglings are now becoming Nigel's nippers
Jimmy Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Oliver Norwood has left Mufc this kid looked decent last year and being a man utd youth this may happen. Fergies Fleglings are now becoming Nigel's nippers he did well in a very poor Cov side, but I think we have enough young midfielders so can't see us signing another young central midfielder
Austin Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 Fourth Official @Fourth_Official Jon Parkin has been released by Cardiff after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract #CCFC Worth a punt?

MGLCFC Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 With respect, we've just released Steve Howard - it would be like resigning Steve Howard signing Parkin.
NewburyFox Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 With respect, we've just released Steve Howard - it would be like resigning Steve Howard signing Parkin. A Howard who'd gained two or three stone.
Simo86 Posted 7 June 2012 Posted 7 June 2012 A Howard who'd gained two or three stone. And that's being generous
