Rewatching Years and Years, as it's now available on Netflix.

It first aired in 2019 and of course it didn't see Covid coming, but there's so much else about the next few years that it has got right - terribly, dystopically so in some cases.

I love Lithfow too. Is brilliant at both comedy as well as drama.

I remember seeing him on Santa Claus: The Movie when I was a kid - my sister literally mentioned that film the other day - and he doesn’t seem to have aged once! He’s a brilliant actor. I think he’ll be perfect as Dumbledore. I hope he’s still around to finish the series.

I have no problem with them casting a black guy as Snape, but then don't claim in all your media statements that it'll be a "faithful adaptation" of the books.

I agree, though I’ve always believed in the best actor for the job.

I hope with the ‘faithful adaptation’ they’re mean they’re going right the wrongs of the films.

I'm probably behind everyone on this but we've been watching Kinahan, the true story of the Irish mafia on BBC iPlayer.

I never heard of this before and it's shocking as it's such a huge international cartel with murders and beatings, torture and assassinations across the world all from a low key (at first) Irish drug business building into a worldwide drug industry worth billions and rivalling the Narcos of South America.

It's also relatively close to home, as one of the major players lived in Tamworth!

Tamworth, I mean, what?

Just started with Severance. Three episodes in and really enjoying it and definitely curious as to where it goes.

You’re in for a ****ing treat.

Yup, I've done a lot of research over the years on the Kinahans. As a boxing fan, they pretty much own the game, which is depressing.

I grew up watching ER with my mum. It was a phenomenal show for years.

I’m also a massive fan of 24 (at least the first 5 seasons) so hopefully I’ll love it.

Loving The Last Of Us.

Never played the game but I feel like this is how you do a zombie apocalypse.

Started watching season 2 and ended up watching both episodes.
Episode 2 had Game of Thrones level jeopardy and brave decisions.
One of those shows where I always start to watch not sure if I’ll like it and get completely drawn in by great story telling.

I think I’ll be cheering on the two old boys, not that they’ve got a hope in hell.

I’m enjoying mobland.

For anyone unfamiliar, it’s sort of Gangs Of London, with Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, Joanna Froggart, Helen Mirren and Paddy Considine.

Mobland has a healthy dose of black humour, Gangs of London was just hard core serious.  I always enjoy the London settings,  so both winners for me.

I think it’s just the way Tom Hardy delivers his lines. I’ve laughed a few times.

If anyone is interested in horror, Match of the Day is on tonight.  It's been a tough watch all season.

The script is so predictable you know the ending before it starts

"The Settlers" the new Louis Theroux doc on iPlayer is brilliant, shining a light on the Israeli occupation of the West Bank. Got some balls on him, a few of the interactions with the IDF looked so intimidating
