I enjoyed Lioness more than I thought I would but I do not like the portrayal of super human type powers, I’d say the same if it were male leads ala Jack Reacher series, he’s a big man he won’t be as quick as portrayed and won’t be able to handle an iron bar to the jaw type thing, but in the series he’s like a cat with granite for teeth.

They built up the lionesses in a way that wasn’t needed and just way over the top, we get it best in case etc, but yes story line wasn’t that bad overall.

yeah i see where youre coming from but obviously the marines taught her how to fight and and built on what was probably already a strong mentality due to her life before.

 

And she did still get over powered by men who had similar training but because they were men and she was a relatively small female.

I do love some of his new stuff with the Gibbons brothers. Alpha Papa is phenomenal and has become a comfort watch in recent years. This Time could be a bit hit and miss but still has a lot of great moments. Can't wait to watch the new series!!!

Caught the Mrs watching it - one thing I will say is Jimmy Floyd is packing something serious in those chinos, it will need planning permission. Should of been on after 9pm

watched this a little while ago...what seemed good premise was utter shit by the end... For a while i assumed it was the first AI series

On a par in terms of portraying the main characters and there's background similarities in why they came to do what they did.

 

We've only watched 3 episodes so far and the story is still developing.

 

I think it's going to be a worthy watch.

Agreed - first two episodes were a bit slow but it improves really well.
