Missing You - the writing is so bad.

 

The protagonist is just continually lied to by everybody close to her and they all just conspire to keep lying - despite her finding out she’s just… fine with it.

 

 

Everybody all lives in the nicest houses ever, semi-apparent it’s set in Manchester but everybody is Southern.

 

Everything takes the most socially progressive turn you can imagine too to the point it’s tiresome.

 

Proper Netflix slop

Just finished s2 of a rewatch of The Wire. Its over 20 years old now and remains for me the goat. If you've yet to watch it what are you waiting for? Gonna pause it though and check out This City Is Ours on Now. Another David Simon Baltimore cop show from a couple of years back featuring multiple Wire actors. Hopefully itl be be good although I imagine seeing the Marlo actor as a cop might be a bit weird!

The first ten minutes were quite shocking.  I wanted to shake him by the neck and unless he had a complete change of personality it wasn’t going to work for me, but glad you liked it.

Yeah I felt the same !!🤣🤣 I was literally swearing at the tv!!!

Finished the latest series of Blue Lights and once again it was great tv.

Set up well for another series so hope it Carrys on that standard.
