Probably just the work of the players agent here but still, what a boring Summer this is proving to be with Pearson back. So many links to medicre players, just hoping at the moment they come to nothing and he has something exciting hidden up his sleeve.

Yeah why can't we have mental buying sprees every summer and carry on finishing 9th? That is SO SO fun. Also judge Pearson on who he buys, not who he is randomly linked with.

How can people even say this kind of stuff before they've signed for us, before they've played for us. How far did being linked to big names get us? It got agents and the parasites all wanting a bit (a lot) of our money, it produced greed. I'd rather we went quietly about our business and, you know, actually do well, unlike ever under Sven.

kingfox Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 We have Waghorn Why do we need Simon Church ? This, very similar players. Church ain't much cop, puts in the odd good shift and good game, gets and few here and there. But would prefer more of a goalscorer, someone like Bothroyd or Simon Cox.
