Only then to bring out this daft foreign ownership rubbish as an excuse. The Forest fans didn't sing it to anyone else regardless of the nationality of the owners. As for the rumours, I've head Redknapp or Diego as managers and Michael Owen to be the first signing. I suspect it's going to be a long 4 weeks or so before the season starts.

Owen said we wont be dropping to a lower level because he still feels he can compete ( Feels it will tarnish his business image ) Dont worry, youve just signed Titus Bramble, he'l score plenty ! And Diego Maradona or Harry Redknapp ? Youve still got Cotterill mate ! .

Leicester_Numan Posted 12 July 2012 Posted 12 July 2012 With FFP, the takeover will only make a big difference to the academy as that is unrestricted. Just like everyone else, Forest can't be more than 6 million in the red for the season. They could spend massively and hope for promotion and take the huge financial penalty and transfer embargo that goes with it but as we saw last season, spending guarantees nothing and if they don't go up, they've screwed the club for the following season and maybe for quite a while as the players would want to leave. Not really worth the risk. They're just going to have to buy sensibly and hope, like us
