Fox92 Posted 21 April 2013 Posted 21 April 2013 5 points off the playoffs now, doubt we'll make it You've done well to make it to 9th, but no you won't make play offs. In my opinion, I think every place is confirmed apart from 6th, which is for Nottingham Forest, Bolton or ourselves.
ADK Posted 21 April 2013 Posted 21 April 2013 One thing that helps us is playing Watford a day early. If were to win it would heap the pressure on Bolton Palace and Forest.

In my opinion, I think every place is confirmed apart from 6th, which is for Nottingham Forest, Bolton or ourselves. It's not impossible to make it there. Would require us to beat both M'boro and Bristol City and hope Bolton lose to Cardiff & Blackpool and that Crystal Palarse don't pick up any points too.
marko Posted 21 April 2013 Posted 21 April 2013 5 points off the playoffs now, doubt we'll make it There's more chance of one of your 10p accumulators coming in

StanSP Posted 21 April 2013 Posted 21 April 2013 It's not impossible to make it there. Would require us to beat both M'boro and Bristol City and hope Bolton lose to Cardiff & Blackpool and that Crystal Palarse don't pick up any points too. It's not impossible. It's just very, very, very unlikely considering you need THREE teams above you to drop maximum points for 2 games. I know this is the Championship, but you're not getting the play-offs. I know it's 5 points and Leicester being Leicester could drop maximum points for both games, but you won't get Bolton and Forest dropping maximum points each game. Further to that point, if one us 3 drops maximum points, that automatically means the other will get a win along the line because Forest play Leicester on the final day. So to sum up, you're not getting play-offs. Don't get your hopes up. If you get play-offs, I'll get your face tattooed on my back.
Lamby Posted 21 April 2013 Posted 21 April 2013 I wasn't saying we would make it Although someone has worked this out: Leicester to lose to Watford next FridayOn the Saturday, Blackburn to beat Palarse, Millwall to beat Forest. Cardiff to beat Bolton Then we need Millwall to beat Palace in the week. Then on the final day Bolton to lose to Blackpool, Palace to lose to Peterborough, Forest and Leicester to draw. That would have us 5th so we can afford for one of these teams to do better than suggested
MC Prussian Posted 22 April 2013 Posted 22 April 2013 As much as I love Powell and have no hard feelings towards Charlton, I hope they don't make the playoffs (given the minimal chances), so we can all have a dig at Lamby for yet another season.
SystonFox Posted 22 April 2013 Posted 22 April 2013 Lamby go and put a quid on all those outcomes happening in an acca. This time in two weeks you'll be a millionaire. Delusional to fvck
Ashley Posted 22 April 2013 Posted 22 April 2013 Lamby go and put a quid on all those outcomes happening in an acca. This time in two weeks you'll be a millionaire. Delusional to fvck I laughed so hard at this.
ADK Posted 22 April 2013 Posted 22 April 2013 Wouldn't mind Charlton going up if we don't. Though it would be hilarious how bad their squad would be in the prem.
Fox92 Posted 22 April 2013 Posted 22 April 2013 Wouldn't mind Charlton going up if we don't. Though it would be hilarious how bad their squad would be in the prem. But they'd improve though? Most teams who go up arn't good enough for the Premier League (in terms of squad). I can only think of West Ham and Newcastle in recent years that got promoted with a 'Premier League squad' because they didn't get rid of all their key players when they were relegated. Blackpool weren't good enough (apart from Charlie Adam), same as Southampton (thought Lallana would be a decent PL player) and Reading etc
Lamby Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 Would prefer them to beat Palace on Saturday. Both would do
Super_horns Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 Lets hope they remember to turn up for 90 minutes..
Lamby Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 Why do you want a Blackburn win? Cos Millsmall are scum and I want them to go down
MC Prussian Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 I don't usually rejoice in other teams getting relegated from the Championship, but if Blackburn went down to League One, I don't think I would be able to hold back bucketloads of heinous laughter. I do feel for their fans, though.

I do feel for their fans, though. I don't. They think they're a Premiership club and it's time they got a reality check.
ADK Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 Cos Millsmall are scum and I want them to go down Logically though Millwall still have a mathematical chance of play offs so if they win it will give them an incentive to go and beat Forest and Palace whereas Blackburn will be in danger of relegation so they will want to beat Palace. At least with this result both teams have something to play for when they take on our play off rivals on saturday.
