AKCJ Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 I don't usually rejoice in other teams getting relegated from the Championship, but if Blackburn went down to League One, I don't think I would be able to hold back bucketloads of heinous laughter. I do feel for their fans, though. Nope, not me. They wanted Keane sacked after they were on a 2 points per game average at the start of the season. I'm enjoying their demise.
ADK Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 Don't really feel for Blackburn fans either, they got to win the premier league despite being a small boring club, basically a nothern coventry. Bet their stadium will be empty if they get relegated.
StanSP Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 ****sake could've done without Blackburn winning Why?
StanSP Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 Apparently Shittu got sent off at the final whistle tonight, meaning he'll miss Saturday vs Forest. Could be pivotal. Surely Blackburn are safe now? 5 points ahead of 22nd, 2 games left...
ADK Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 Yeah not a good result can see a forest and palace win on saturday. Need Cardiff to do us a favour really.
NewburyFox Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 Apparently Shittu got sent off at the final whistle tonight, meaning he'll miss Saturday vs Forest. Could be pivotal. Surely Blackburn are safe now? 5 points ahead of 22nd, 2 games left... Not sure where you've the Shittu red card from, nothing on the BBC website. Not sure if this is a good or bad result for us, but Millwall seem really shit at the moment and need to pull something out this weekend.
StanSP Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 From a Blackburn fan I follow on Twitter. Perhaps it was after the final whistle went - an altercation in the tunnel or something?
Simmo86 Posted 23 April 2013 Posted 23 April 2013 Why? Dont want Millwall losing confidence. Could do with getting getting 6 points next 2
Super_horns Posted 24 April 2013 Posted 24 April 2013 . Perhaps it was after the final whistle went - an altercation in the tunnel or something? Yes - big fuss over the winning penalty. Shock horror - Millwall defender stuck a foot out and the Blackburn full back dived. They shouldn't complain too much - makes up for the 2 we didn't get against them last week!
Fox92 Posted 24 April 2013 Posted 24 April 2013 Don't feel for the Blackburn fans. Ok, they might not have wanted Keane but they booed during every Premier League match last season. Even Moyes said, when he went to Ewood to scout, he had to leave at half time because of their fans' treatment towards Keane. And they still booed when he had them third in the table this season. Didn't expect Blackburn to win though. Always thought the Den was a tough place to go, but teams scrapping away like Wednesday and Blackburn have both taken three points away... Just hope they do beat Palace and Forest.
iamafox Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 After last night's defeat, is anyone still bothered about the games that our play-off rivals have today?
Harry - LCFC Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 After last night's defeat, is anyone still bothered about the games that our play-off rivals have today? Yes. We can still make it so why not? Unlikely I admit but no-one can rule it out yet.
Fox92 Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 After last night's defeat, is anyone still bothered about the games that our play-off rivals have today? Yeah. If Forest and Bolton both lose, we are in the same position as we were prior to our defeat yesterday.
ADK Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Would still be nice to have something to play for on the final day. Hoping for Palace and Bolton defeat.
VinceNoir Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Not too bothered about Forest's result. We have to go there and win regardless, and even that may not be enough. Bolton and Palace to drop points would be nice so we can retain a wee bit of optimism going into the last game.
Corky Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 As we will probably finish outside the top six, does anyone know the record positive goal difference for a side not finishing at least 6th? If we win next week and still miss out it'll be at least +23. Incredible.
Leicfox Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Cardiff V Bolton link if anyone has the nerve to watch. http://www.viplivesports.eu/football/151516/1/cardiff-city-vs-bolton-wanderers-live-stream-online.html
Northants Fox 3 Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Boro 0-1 Charlton Barnsley 1-0 Hull Wolves 0 - 1 Burnley
surrifox Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 if Hull don't get up via automatic place there is no chance they will win the play offs
