Nod.E Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Peterborough Charlton Blackburn Blackpool Wolves Burnley Two relegated sides, Charlton with momentum, and Burnley who are a solid outfit. I'd have taken 9 points from that lot. Very good haul from a difficult start.
Corky Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Had to win and we did. Showed some belief recovering from conceding first and two strikers get a goal each. Need to keep it going.
foxesfan1989 Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 VERY good haul? Not even a good haul to be honest. Im happy with the result tonight and i'm an optimist about Pearson...but really, lets not get carried away. It's the definition of an average start really, hence why we are 10th right now.
cc_star Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Not too great a performance Which is a change from a great performance and a defeat that we had a couple of games ago. Such a shame we schtinked it up against Wolves by giving them two goals... Oh well, we're amongst
mrgarrison16 Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 With no highlights on the BBC website anymore is there actually any way of seeing the highlights from this match?

It was a hallmark of Pearson's first tenure- getting a better result than the performance.
Swarles Barkley Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 And blackpool made play offs last season and had momentum. Very good 9 points when you think about it
Wycombe Fox Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Very poor attempt by 'Roy' to string a sentence together

Wouldn't even look at league until about 10 games in A defeat and we're near the bottom, a win and we're a point off automatics... pointless looking
BMR Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 With no highlights on the BBC website anymore is there actually any way of seeing the highlights from this match? sky sports news usually show the goals, foxesplayer will have goals and highlights.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 100% league record at home, incredible really seeing how negative many of our fans are. Surely won't be long before we start picking up points on the road too to get us into the playoffs
cc_star Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 With no highlights on the BBC website anymore is there actually any way of seeing the highlights from this match? Goals on East Midlands new tomorrow, or SSN tonight?

foxfanazer Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Job done. Need to work really hard now to back it up on Saturday. At least we've made some changes after Sundays disappointment. Just two days of unbearable NP out vs NP in threads to go until the next game
Foxhateram Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Good win against a Tricky opposition, we would have lost that last season. 100% home record remains! win at home bit is right we just need to turn the away losses into draws and were looking at definite top 6.
MrSpaM Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 With no highlights on the BBC website anymore is there actually any way of seeing the highlights from this match? Sky sports news on friday Got lucky with the two goal tbh. Points that matter though.

James. Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Young having a pop at the moaners live on air while we were 2-1 up a definite highlight.
EnderbyFox Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Does anyone know where i can get a great book documenting the O'Neill years with interviews from 20 former players? Can't find one anywhere....

Candidcamera Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Good result after losing at half time.
cc_star Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Sky sports news on friday Got lucky with the two goal tbh. Points that matter though. Been unlucky in front of goal enough so far this season, about time it bounced in our favour for once
Corky Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Last time we won our first three home games we finished in the play-offs. It's an omen.
