Corky Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 We're three points behind where I'd liked to have been, but there's no point looking back. Get three on Sunday and things will seem healthier.
MrSpaM Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Seriously did he because that's a sodding joke if so. Different player 30 minutes onwards but my god, before that I don't know what to say. I have to agree with you to be honest, first 30 he was shocking, think Youngys got a short memory. Knocky got motm for me
irishfox Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 100% at the KP, having the KP a fortress will go a long way to getting the job done, obviously just need to start picking up points away. Charlton Blackburn and Wolves away are all really though and we could have easily got something from them 3 games, away points will come trust me
Babylon Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 No Joke. Alan Young gave him the award. He said Babs knows fvck all about anything and he would like to give him a big kiss. Ha ha ha ha ha ha good god. I'm willing to forgive as he's short of game time, but his passing and positioning was shocking and was the key factor on is surrendering our positive start.
crisp packet Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 We won. We have played better and lost ? 100% home record ..... Roll on Sunday!
Austin Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Ill record the goals on my phone if anyone wants me to email them
Happy Fox Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Bloody hell, very crap first half better second half we won that is my synopsis could definitely do better, now we need to get a winning run going can we do it lets hope we can.
Leicesterpool Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Like i said this match as the same feel to the watford home game last season where sven had a bad result away to birmingham (like wolves), followed by unconvincing win over watford, tonights game sounded similar so could the Hull game be Pearson's Millwall heavy defeat?
Fox 4 Life Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Just seen the goals, there's was pretty unstoppable. Vardy's finish was class to be fair
The Year Of The Fox Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 1st half was as bad as millwall under Sven. At least no two halves are never as bad under Pearson. Drinkwater and James were brilliant and how anyone can't rate SSL is beyond me
Happy Fox Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 If we play like that first half against Dull we will get beaten need to really perform for the whole 90 minutes.
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Just got in. Nigel, do your half time team talk pre-match and we are laffin! Good result. Bring on Sunday.

Why do you need to compare anything to last season? Wolves was a far better performance than Bham if you want to start doing that, we haven't even played Hull and Burnley are a better side than Watford. Get back off the ledge mate.
Austin Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Just seen the goals, there's was pretty unstoppable. Vardy's finish was class to be fair Looked like a deflection, good goal though!
kingfox Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Got back a while ago. First half I thought oh here we go again, this is Burnley last season all over again, we were poor, slow, looked out of ideas and everyone apart from the defence was woeful, midfield was rubbish and so were Nugent and Vardy. Come second half we looked like a changed team, Morgan and St Ledger both had a cracking game, Konchesky looked better, but I thought De Laet was a massive let down, he attacked incredibly well, but on the defensive side he was so so poor. Marshall had a shocker, James quiet but quite effective, Drinkwater was poor in my opinion, amount of balls he gave away, and the amount of time he spent on the ball in dangerous areas, was ludicrous. But Nugent and Vardy improved dramatically two early goals and linked much better. Quite happy with the performance in the end, and a win's a win, so well done to the lads tonight, some impressed some didn't but who cares. We won, now bring on Hull on Sunday
Leicesterpool Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 We seem to be a second half team, first half what are on earth to team do for the first 45!?
Ric Flair Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 We must fookin give Marshall and Knockaert free roles to roam. Marshall is wasted out wide in some types of games. This could be sorted with a 4-2-3-1 formation, I hope to god Nigel tries it on a regular basis.
Ric Flair Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 We seem to be a second half team, first half what are on earth to team do for the first 45!? Under Pearson we've never really been a 90 minute team, even during our League 1 domination and the play-off season. So many games we were a different team from 1 half to the other, it baffles me. I know it's impossible to maintain a high level of performance for 90 minutes every game, but a lot of successful teams do it a lot more than we do under NFP. It's mind boggling.
Bettsj2 Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Ill record the goals on my phone if anyone wants me to email them Meh
Guest shearfox Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Nothing unconvincing about our performances, tough away games but we have won all at home continue that on Sunday we will be well up there.
topharry123 Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 I stepped out of the room for a total of about 45 seconds during the game and missed both goals !! Maybe I should make a habit of doing that more often in the future! Good win. Didn't sound overly convincing but three points in the bag is all that matters. Bring on the weekends game and 3 more points !!
Austin Posted 19 September 2012 Posted 19 September 2012 Meh Theyre not great tbh, fealt depressed video'ing but my mate asked me to send him then.

No football teams except the best in the World actually are 90 minute teams, if anyone in this league was they would romp it. Did well tonight, 3 points was very important, home record should be impressive this season.

Hopefully it will allow Marshall to discover some more form.
