NewquayFox Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Just sacked manager Paul Groves (ex City) paving the way for Harry Redknapp to take over hopefully.... ;0)
indierich06 Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Couldn't have posted this in one of the ten other Redknapp threads?
Jace Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Maybe Paul Groves is returning? (checkout tomorrows Daily Mail to find out)
Fox92 Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 I wouldn't be suprised if Harry went. Think he is at the club at the minute anyway.
Darkon84 Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 I wouldn't be suprised if Harry went. Think he is at the club at the minute anyway. Only in an advisor type role. I suppose he could take charge temporarily, but surely theres no way he would seriously take it on full time. The man eats money for breakfast, and theyd never be able to feed him.

He said before that if nothing comes up, he would look at working for Bouremouth for free, but I'm not sure if this meant becoming manager?
Darkon84 Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Yeah, and at the minute he works for free. He said before that if nothing comes up, he would look at working for Bouremouth for free, but I'm not sure if this meant becoming manager? Being an advisor = Pretty much zero work though, so he just gets his ego inflated for free because people keep going to him and licking his boots, looking for simple answers, like he is an all knowing demi god. I would imagine being manager would be a bit too much work to do for free. Linked to QPR yesterday anyway, and if Hughes goes soon, Id say that would be a safe bet. London is commutable for him and he would have an idiotic chairman willing to throw money around like a child in a food fight.
Mack Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 All the Ballmouth fans .... praying for Harry.... Then in walks Dowie!
RowlattsFox Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Aren't Bournemouth pretty well backed by League 1 standards? I don't know why but wouldn't be surprised if he went there, probably on a contract which allows him to leave if a better offer comes in.
Mark_w Posted 4 October 2012 Posted 4 October 2012 'Burnley executive Lee Hoos issued a "hands-off" warning regarding any approaches for Howe on Wednesday'
Corky Posted 4 October 2012 Posted 4 October 2012 Why would Howe, who left to take over a bigger club, leave that bigger club to go back?
Out Foxed Posted 4 October 2012 Posted 4 October 2012 'Burnley executive Lee Hoos issued a "hands-off" warning regarding any approaches for Howe on Wednesday' didn't realise that mutant had ended up there
AKCJ Posted 4 October 2012 Posted 4 October 2012 didn't realise that mutant had ended up there I thought he'd vanished from the face of the Earth. Or at least I hoped he did.
daddylonglegs Posted 11 October 2012 Posted 11 October 2012 Eddie Howe - Rumours saying he's going back to Bournemouth?
foxesfan1989 Posted 11 October 2012 Posted 11 October 2012 Really? Why would he drop down a league? I can't imagine the Burnley fans would be too devastated to be honest, he isn't doing that great! Plus didn't he announce he was staying at Bournemouth then leave 2 weeks later? Why would they want him back after that! Mental all round.

A lad who lives in the flat next door to me supports Burnley, and he doesn't rate Howe.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 October 2012 Posted 11 October 2012 Set to happen: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19895260 Strange one, can only think its for money, or maybe he just wants to live down there again.
ScouseFox Posted 11 October 2012 Posted 11 October 2012 He's probably realised everything about Burnley is shit. Especially having to be in Burnley every day.
