Pretty sure they were in the relegation zone and looking certain to be relegated when he first took over! could just be my memory though

I thought they were mid-table when he took over for some reason. They've had an inconsistent start to the season. Like someone said the curse of Matt Mills

accessory Posted 9 October 2012 Posted 9 October 2012 The last THREE managers (Coyle, SGE and Brendan Rodgers) to sign Mills have all been sacked soon afterwards. Surprised at this move. Coyle had a record of success in this league. Bolton didn't make a great start to the season but there was enough quality in their squad to recover.

kingfox Posted 9 October 2012 Posted 9 October 2012 Wasn't getting on well so right call, the squad should be top six by now, yet they are more near the relegation zone. Not the best of managers anyway, probably McCarthy or McLeish for Bolton now.

Don't mind him as a manager, pretty straightforward and honest enough (compared to others).
