broughtonblue Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 Don't want to get too carried away, but I think the coming years will be the best since O'neils. Think Pearson and the owners are building something for the long term not just for this season, and I can't think of a better person to follow what we had in O'neils years. Also 'spookily' they follow in the alphabet M artin N igel O neil P earson Think we are destined for good times ahead!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 I thought this was another Twitter thread.

I recall a thread on here during the 09/10 season which was comparing O'Neill to Pearson as well.
whoareyaaa Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 It does have the tingaling of the O'Neil era I was thinking about this the other day. BUT its still early days yet.

Zingari Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 Pearson has just had a knee operation which is spooky because it sounds like it may hurt him if he kneels OH Kneel !!!
Lcfcman2010 Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 Pearson has just had a knee operation which is spooky because it sounds like it may hurt him if he kneels OH Kneel !!! Poor

Lcfcman2010 Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 But wrote should be spelt written. Indeed. isn't it. Ennit.
Zingari Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 In the Young Ones Neil was played by Nigel Planer which sounds a lot like Nigel Pearson and Rik often used to say "Oh Neil" this is spooky stuff !!
Charl91 Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 Nigel and Martin are both also male, and they both have two legs. The coincidences just keep coming!

If Pearson gets the sack my money's on Quentin Rayner from the east midlands today programme
rico Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 If Pearson gets the sack my money's on Quentin Rayner from the east midlands today programme Would rather Queen Rania
Wakeyfox Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 Another spooky coincidence. We know that Nige has had a knee op, and if you re-arrange the letters of his name you get; R! I snap one leg! Never has a truer pirate statment been made... I'll get my coat
AyewJoking Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 To be fair O'Neill's Leicester would piss all over Nigel's Leicester.

MooseBreath Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 Here's something spooky - if you take the number of letters in Pearson's first name and add one, you get the same number as the number of letters in mon's first name.
Finnegan Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 Knockaert vs Gerry Taggart, now there's a contest I'd pay to see.

Guest Col city fan Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 Knockaert vs Gerry Taggart, now there's a contest I'd pay to see. lol Funniest post on here for ages
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 Also, if you take the letters NIGEL PEARSON MARTIN ONEILL, an anagram is: "I am one large person: Tinlinn" Tinlinn is much like Station from Bill and Ted's Bog Journey - Martin O'Neill and Nigel Pearson clash and form one new super-manager - "Tinlinn!"
foxfanazer Posted 22 October 2012 Posted 22 October 2012 But wrote should be spelt written. You shouldn't use But to start a sentence this could go on and on
