I blame Wellens Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 How do you know when your team is playing well and you feel your club has got it's identity back and players look like they are proud to play for your team? When you have that "man love" for players in the team. Now I'm 41 and I have started to love the players that are playing for my team The thing is it changes every week first Nugent, then Knocky and now Big Wes if I wasn't happily married with two lovely children I would have to start doubting my sexuality. I just love these players and Filbert of course. Who do you love?
I blame Wellens Posted 25 October 2012 Author Posted 25 October 2012 I will always love Wellens it's one of those love hate relationships
foxesfan1989 Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 Kasper, gives 100% every week and plays with passion
Guest BlueBrett Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 I'm fond of pretty much the whole squad at the moment.. which is why I'm hoping against hope we've seen the last of Jermaine Beckford.
VinceNoir Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 Got to say Kingy. He's served our club for years and even though he's had his tough spells, he can always pop up with vital goals as we saw on Tuesday, and he looks as though he's found the form from the play-off season. Also, his goal against Derby when we won 2-0 is one of the best team goals I've ever seen us score.
KingPowerLCFC1884 Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 havent really got a top player but here is my favourites Kasper Nugent Dyer Knockaert Waghorn
Gold Coast Fox Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 Nugent. Love how good he is at annoying the oppositions fans
Finnegan Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 It was Bamba, it's now Knockaert. I go to the football to have fun and be entertained so I love a bit of flair and audacity as long as it isn't flat out moronic (like chipped penalties.) Big soft spot for David Nugent, though, one of the most complete players in any position we've had for ages and manages to be a tidy footballer that genuinely looks like he enjoys playing. Almost a touch of the Jimmy Bullard, just less of a clown.
dobbylcfc Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 Such a hard choice tbh but for me it would have to be st ledge or Marshall after seeing the tunnel cam video against Bristol city on YouTube when st ledge and Marshall take the pxss out of Big wes by going awwwww forest friend class
Webbo Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 There are players I like more than others but I don't think I've had a favourite player since Lennon.
Jobyfox Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 havent really got a top player but here is my favourites Kasper Nugent Dyer Knockaert Waghorn I must get my eyes tested because I thought for a minute you'd written Waghorn. For me it's Andy King for a botty bashing. Simply because I'd got to the point where I was totally fed up with him - and then suddenly his form this season has been a revelation.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 Interesting post this, I like to think its because we are now getting an affinity with the side/players which has been lost over the past few seasons, me personally anyway, maybe it is because we are doing well but we now seem to have a hungry youngish team who want to do well for the club and the supporters recognize that, hopefully the side can grow and succeed together and with that creates crowd favourites which we have been sadly lacking over a number of years, thats my take on things anyway.
Mark_w Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 Big Wes and Waggy are my favourite players, Waghorn's the nostalgia act, Wes is incredible.
foxfanazer Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 Kasper King Knocky Drinkwater Wes Nuge In no particular order, although if I had to choose it would be king
SharpeFox Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 Mancrush list currently stands at: Kasper, Knockaert and Morgan.
Haydos Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 Been Kingy for a good few years now. Knockaert could make a push though if he hangs around. Schmeichel gets a shout as well great passion for the game.
Wakeyfox Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 Been Kingy for a good few years now. Knockaert could make a push though if he hangs around. Schmeichel gets a shout as well great passion for the game. Is a "push through" anything like a "reach-around"? If so, Knocky would be top of my list...
kingfox Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 Easy Sean St Ledger. Because I think he is very underrated, and I like the way he plays instead of hoofing he likes to bring the ball out of the defence and find the midfield.
Leicester_Numan Posted 25 October 2012 Posted 25 October 2012 I like King, Morgan, Dyer, Knockaert, Nugent & Moore because he's a Leicester lad living all our dreams of playing for the club he loves. I'm sure i'll like the others more if they stick around and play regularly enough
