Might seem a bit unorthodox but sometimes the Police need to fight fire with fire.

Personally I’ve got not sympathy as it’s the choice they made and it’s better they get hurt.

Changing news topic - it must be time for West Ham to change its name. Clearly supports the slaughter of pigs, which isn't good for them. I suggest this as PETA have writtenen to Wool Parich Council asking them to change their name - apparently shearing sheep is cruel (although the name has nothing to do with sheep)  -

I guess PETA members must have nightnares if they visit the Cotswolds, and see the villages of Upper and Lower Slaughter - perhaps they could drop the S to make PETA smile

A good news story to warm the cockles of your heart: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-south-scotland-46357130

Oldest surviving England player (aged 95) gets his England shirt back after it had been missing for 50+ years.

Someone borrowed it for a charity event in the 1960s, washed it, stuck it in her loft and forgot about it

That's her story, anyway - a thief racked with guilt for decades who finally cracked in the face of divine punishment, I reckon.

Must admit that I'd never heard of Ivor Broadis, but he scored twice for England at the 1954 World Cup.

Missing shirt was from an England v Scotland match in 1953, a 2-2 draw in which he scored both England goals.

It’s not like you to be that cynical, Alf.

As someone who's experienced moped robbers first hand, I found this extremely cathartic to watch.

Shoulda thought about that before doxing me and correcting every bloody thing I say lol

But, Carl, who would educate you if I didn't?

You'd just stumble through life in perpetual ignorance.

Just to clarify I don't actually hate you, Buce.  You seem like a lovely fellow regardless of your views on Finnish people's rights to self-identify as Scandinavian.

Well, that's good, Carl.

It's a heavy burden that we educators bear but bringing knowledge to the ignorant has its own rewards.
