Did I hear newsbeat/radio1 correct at dinnertime ?? Some joker said "come to Leicester, The nursery and retirement home of English football"

He would double the average age of the squad.

Would love to hear the Beckhams' opinion of certain areas of Leicester.... They could write a book!

Oh who would of thought it the Thais are interested in Beckham again

According to Neil Moxey of the Daily Mail

Possibly. What about Leicester City?

The Foxes’ are owned by well-heeled Thais who arranged for the arrival of Real Madrid for a pre-season friendly two seasons ago.

That stunt cost the club a cool £1m and, with Leicester keen to make an impact in Thailand, what better way to demonstrate their ambitions than by bank-rolling such a move.

Big spender: Leicester City owner Vichai Raksriaksorn (left) could be interested in Beckham

The east Midlands’ club is well sited and Beckham’s quality would certainly aid any club in that division - although with a hectic run of matches in a 46-game season’s slog, it could be tough going on those tired legs.

Paddy Power have the following odds for becks next move....

Melbourne Victory - 6/4

Perth Glory - 3/1

Central Coast Mariners - 7/1

PSG - 10/1

NY Red Bulls 14/1

QPR and West Ham 16/1

Anzhi - 18/1

Ac Milan - 18/1

DC utd - 20/1

Celtic - 20/1

Man Utd 33/1

Think they got the wrong Melbourne team, Victory have said they aren't interested and Melbourne Heart have put a contract believe to be $1.75m for a 10 game guest stint.

Mind you the Heart could do with him, it's only there 3rd season and only averaging about 6,000 a home game.

That's a cheeky move by Paddy Power, get the money in for that and not pay out. Same company thats owns a big percentage Sportsbet down under.

Can't believe people are suggesting PSG, he wouldnt get near the first team this season.

I would call up Paddy Power and ask for odds on Melbourne Heart, hope they give you 50/1 then plonk on.

I looked at Paddy Power straight after the OP posted that and it said Melbourne Heart on there so I think he just mistyped it

Even though that's photoshopped it still looks like Beckham is forcing a smile after putting the shirt on. Even in a fake world he's not happy joining the A-League!

He His agent knows how to milk the media. Instead of just going somewhere, tells everyone hes leaving a month beforehand so all the speculation starts. I could see him trying to finish his career in the Prem.

Think he might end up in Qatar or UAE

Either way I don't see him playing in a top league, he would get obliterated weekly so I would say France is out of the question

Couldn't imagine Posh's pasty white skin enjoying that move.
