Amin Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20405547 Surprised about this considering he had signed a new two year contract in January.
ozleicester Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 Sorry David, we dont have a spot for you at the moment
jonthefox Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 Funny thing is, he'll end up at PSG or somewhere on a squillian quid a week.
Jon the Hat Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 No doubt his contract had a break clause in it. Not unusual to play one season of a two season deal at his age. I wonder where he will turn up next. I guess the money is probably in China.

That wont be him though... it will just be someone who looks just like him... appears to have all the features of him... but in the end is just a disappointing copy

purpleronnie Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 The A League is a definate possibility. But he'll end up owning a MLS club.
goose2010 Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 Paddy Power have the following odds for becks next move.... Melbourne Victory - 6/4 Perth Glory - 3/1 Central Coast Mariners - 7/1 PSG - 10/1 NY Red Bulls 14/1 QPR and West Ham 16/1 Anzhi - 18/1 Ac Milan - 18/1 DC utd - 20/1 Celtic - 20/1 Man Utd 33/1
Kilworthfox Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 It seems that his contract he signed in Jan was a 1 year deal with a 1 year option which he has decided not to take. I guess he will be off to Japan, Australia or China in that order of possibility...
Soar Fox Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 Think he'll end up at PSG. Was Ancelotti manager at AC Milan when he was there? Also he'll probably be listening to his missus on where to move and Paris could be very tempting for her.

Guesty Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 He knows how to milk the media. Instead of just going somewhere, tells everyone hes leaving a month beforehand so all the speculation starts. I could see him trying to finish his career in the Prem.

I could see him trying to finish his career in the Prem. if he was going to go back to the prem he would of done it instead of going to LA. To be honest i dont think many prem teams would take him on and those who would cant afford him and he wouldn't want to go to them anyway. it will be a bit city club if it is Europe i would say PSG or Milan. But i can see him going to Australia to be honest.
Fox92 Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 He does milk the media, I agree. Always thought he was overrated anyway, and I liked George Best' comment about him; "He cannot kick with his left foot, he cannot head a ball, he cannot tackle and he doesn't score many goals. Apart from that he's all right."
purpleronnie Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 The MLS no longer needs him, his job is done, he's seen as an ambassador for football so where better than Australia?, then once he's increased popularity over there it will be back to the US to own his own team.
kingfox Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 Stay in the US, Mexico, China or Australia for me. Definitely won't go Celtic.
Simo86 Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 PSG, the location will appeal to Posh, and Becks will do whatever she says
jonthefox Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 Falls down to her i'm afraid... God she's looking rough these days.
MPH Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 Hopefully he will bugger off to china and dissapear from our news feeds for a while. Yes bah bumbug and all that... Its just he ceased getting headlines for his footballing ability a long time ago.... Knowing my luck Top will go and sign him now!

Bert Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 Looks like Lampard could be heading there though.
