Jaspa Posted 22 November 2012 Posted 22 November 2012 Couldn't imagine Posh's pasty white skin enjoying that move. I doubt Victoria can even control her own face
ozleicester Posted 23 November 2012 Posted 23 November 2012 Tony Sage (owner Perth Glory), has been invited to a spice girls reunion by MelB... obviously, Sage (an Oz version of Phil Brown) will use this time to meet with Vicky, explain the enormous benefits of coming to sunny Perth (the worlds most isolated capital city)...after being shown... Kings Park -http://www.bgpa.wa.gov.au/kings-park... The Bell Tower -http://swanbells.com.au/ and the bazillion other things that Perth has to offer.... There is no doubt that come the next 42 degree day that Perth Glory kick off.... David Beckham will be stylin it up in a purple shirt. "Walking in a Glory wonderland"
BoneDog Posted 23 November 2012 Posted 23 November 2012 Not sure about nowadays, but in the old days his Mrs used to always keep a couple of hazelnuts down her top for a tasty protein snack.

MC Prussian Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 Monaco would be a good move for both him and the wife. Tax haven, great city scenery, lots of pretty and old farts with tons of money. Plus, there's also a former (French) football powerhouse on the way back up to Ligue 1. Everyone's winning.
21st Century Fox Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 It seems like a token move on Monaco's part, when they make it to Ligue 1 I doubt he'll see a huge amount of time on the pitch. It would be more a statement of intent than anything, as they're going to be challenging PSG financially. It puts the "new challenge" spin he put on it out of the window. I don't know what I was expecting but I like the idea of him moving to another developing league and popularising the game. Money aside he worked wonders for MLS.
purpleronnie Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 Monaco looks like a great place to live. if you can afford it.
Webbo Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 if you can afford it. I don't think that will be a problem.
purpleronnie Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 I don't think that will be a problem. For him? nope.
21st Century Fox Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 Obviously going to PSG for the money but I partially tip my hat to actually going for a competitive league.
Guest MattP Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 This guy will still be getting contracts at 45.
Guest MattP Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 Being a Free Agent he could have signed on any day this year. Good job he doesn't like being in the news.
Fox92 Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 Being a Free Agent he could have signed on any day this year. Good job he doesn't like being in the news. lol He is more of a celeb than a footballer, always likes the news around him. Don't like him, or rate him, personally but a good move for him his wife; Paris and everything.
21st Century Fox Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 According to our colleagues on BBC Radio 5 live, David Beckham's press conference is behind schedule because the former England captain is being taught to read his opening statement in French. Sacre bleu. We could be here a while.
Guest MattP Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 Sky Sports Journo. “Why PSG and not the Premier League?†Embarrassing.
purpleronnie Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 Sky Sports Journo. Embarrassing. But predictable.
Super_horns Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 But predictable. I know footballers don't always keep a promise but I do remember Beckham saying he wouldn't join another Premiership club...I would have thought Sky might know that.
Bert Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 What a hero this man is. Won't be earning a penny, all going to a local charity.
foxfanazer Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 What a hero this man is. Won't be earning a penny, all going to a local charity. absolutely! Top bloke for that
Guest MattP Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 What a hero this man is. Won't be earning a penny, all going to a local charity. He'll still do well out of it mate, he isn't giving his image rights and % of merchandise sales away. Great gesture though, even if he has taken a smaller wage for the higher % of image.
casablancas Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 Obviously going to PSG for the money but I partially tip my hat to actually going for a competitive league. Giving away his entire salary to a French charity. He gets mocked week in week out but he does his bit and more. Fair play to him, hope others follow in his steps.
