ah it was jaycees and then sector 5 (septic dive)/alkatraz for me. what with me being so cool in my youth and such. god i miss that place, then the 2am kabab at USA next door and waiting for the inevitable scrap with the peeps coming from the other side. happy days

That was my life between 14 and 18. Great scraps with the Zanzibar bunch-all after 3 Reef/Fosters Ice/foul American 'beers' for a fiver... Beautiful...

It was Euston Street he was taken to. I'm a solicitor and was there at about 4am on another case. Officers were being d!cks to AK so I tried my best to intervene and offer some 'free and independent legal advice. AK was upset (naturally) but coppers were just being ars...coppers.

It what way were the coppers being Dicks? I does not surprise me as I've had a peoblem with corruption at Leicestershire police.

have those corrupt bastards been switching off your spellcheck again?

Pulse changed it's name about 6 or 7 years ago, not sure what it's called now. The clubs in Loughborough are always changing names. The only two that never change are Echos and Vice Versa

Pluse was my regular friday venue. Looking back what was with a place that thought painting glow in the dark sperm on the wall in the cheesy room.

Yes mate.

Some div was in his face with a phone taking photos and he got fed up and pushed the blokes arm / phone away.

Crime of the century.

Ta.....Bit of a do over nothing then really...21 pages of nothing..

Would have ben better devoted to a man worthy of it...

Being condescending as usual. No surprises.

I think most of our cops are ok, go out and stay sober on a Saturday night and see the shit they have to put up with from drunks who think they are being oppressed.

I have to agree and I wouldn't want theirs or any emergency services jobs when weekend drinkers are involved.

I can't imagine what that must have been like, a dream but nightmare rolled into one. I was only saying to my colleague yesterday that if I received a call from the DSCC at 3am telling me that AK was in I'd probably put the phone down thinking that someone was playing a prank on me lol.

You were there at 4am!? I can't recall ever being called out that late here in Northants, thankfully! Guessing it's a lot busier on a Saturday night than here though.

Football coppers are complete wankers though...

They are normal coppers throughout the week that are just trained in crowd control. They could be any copper you encounter during the week, and then on a Saturday afternoon they will go to either Leicester or Tigers games. Do you find Rugby cops different? Same people, but perhaps the difference in crowds contribute to their different attitude.

Do people think knocky will be dropped? Nige being the disciplinarian n all

Was just having this conversation this morning with the Missis.

We both doubt it.. But with Nige you never know.

Hope not because his skill and creativity on the ball is a pleasure to watch, surely he has been punished already for whatever he did or didn't do dropping him would do his confidence no good imo.

Not over this, he didn't break any club rules, I think, he just made a mistake while he was out.

That's the danger though isn't it? Wouldn't want to see Knockaert dropped because of his abilities, but nobody should be above the rules. We had the same problem in my district-level cricket side, the best player, a superb all-rounder, often didn't bother turning up to training and was just a total knobhead, but knew he wouldn't be dropped because of his value to the team, even going so far as to suggest this to the coach (which I have to admit made me laugh at the time).

Jokes probably on him to be fair because he was definitely good enough to make it at County level and its probably the attitude that held him back. Never did get dropped. Think he works in Cash Converters now though

Luckily the Knocky incident doesn't seem too serious and won't have to come to this.

Edit: Making my little ramble fairly redundant but oh well I felt like sharing :D

Was quite late but we were duty that day and night and picked up an attempt murder.

I did card him but no call... yet. I'll put myself forward as official solicitor to the players and hope they get up to more mischief! (I'll make sure there is a conflict with co-d pal!)
