Barnsley match thread

Not good enough.

We need to sort our psychology out.

Scoring in the last minute suggests otherwise.

This has been the shittest matchday thread i've ever had the displeasure of having to follow. Some of you should be ashamed of yourselves. If anyone independant read this thread, it would read out like many of the 'supporters' on here, actually wanted us to lose the game.

I'm all for objective opinion, but some of you on here go on as if you've only just started watching football. Do you not know how it works yet?

Complete bellends.

Work rate & tempo just not there in a game that far too many assume we'll walk.

I'm sure people will pick fault with an individual or two again, but it's always the team, we're a great side when the tempo & work rate is there, and we're not when it isn't.

Agree with this completely, the negativity on here when we concede is awful. Very strange game, but in the end just glad we got something out of it.

This to a certain extent. A point on the board, when we clearly weren't at are best. Best goal difference in the division. Most clean sheets. 8 points dropped out of 33 at home this season. Awful stuff...Pearson out....

Go have a bath and calm down. No need to be a dick just because we 'lost' a match you followed via a conversation you made no constructive input to yourself. If you don't like what people are saying, respond to it to let us know your view, don't just slate everyone off after the fact because you're feeling bitter.

What specifically do you take issue with? It's all very well ranting....

Sorry but surrendering a goal lead against sides like Barnsley at home shows a lack of professional mentality.

Then seemingly taking 40 minutes of the second half to really pile on the pressure shows a poor mentality. Scoring in the last minute doesn't really prove much, we are a better team than Barnsley. The fact we've not won the game suggests we've not been as good as we can be.

What i mean is, that when we conceded against the run of play from a sloppy bit of defending, it seemed to affect us. Then when we scored in injury time, that spurred us on and we had 2 cleared off the line before the whistle. We need to be tougher and more professional, if we are dominating a game and we concede, then we need to carry on dominating not panic and concede a second. When we need a goal we need to attack with passion and ruthlessness, not wait for something to happen. We had it in our locker to win this match 4 or 5 nil. But we were nervous and sloppy at the wrong times. Defensive errors will happen, but two in succession should not. Likewise the pressure wasn't there enough in the second half.

I take issue with the fact that its the way I keep up to date with whats happening at the game but all there were today was several posters constantly just saying how shit we are compared to other teams. It was as if I were reading a Forest, Derby or Cov thread titled, 'Leicester are shit. Discuss.'

Not one person at any point gave any insight into the game or what maybe needed to be done to swing it in our favour. There were 45 minutes left but it was as if I were reading the post match thread and we'd already lost!

Foxes Talk has become 90% reactionary. Hardly anyone on here anymore actually takes a view of things as a whole. We concede a goal and all of a sudden its, '****ing hell, some things never change'. Well that is actually correct but not in the right context. We will always concede goals because we're playing football!! Thats the game and thats what happens!! Nobody expected us to keep a clean sheet against free scoring Blackpool and we did, nobody expected us to concede 2 today but we did. Football plays out and you ride with it. But to type some of the drivel today is just something else. Anyone would think we were in a relegation scrap.

Amd before someone says, 'we're all entitled to our opinion', saying we're shit because somebody has scored against us or complaining that we arent winning convincingly by default is not an opinion. Its just moaning and there is a massive difference and I for one am sick of it.

I'm sure you'll know if i'm directing this at you, but any of the moaning bastards on here care to put their money where their words are, i'll lay a wager of £200 that we go up this season. Not just making the top 6 but actually going up. PM me if any if you have the balls. Just so you know, you'll have to sign a contract as its a private wager.

Jesus there are some dickheads on this forum.

Best season we've had in years and flying very high considering the insanely tough league we're in. Beat the rams 4-1 last week. Even when we have a shit game like today we still refuse to be beaten.

We're Leicester not ****ing Chelsea, count your blessings.
