He did well at Birmingham too.

I hope he will be the right fit,not take to long to adapt to our style of play.

I have only seen him a handful of times but he looks promising.

Just watched the goal which landed Birmingham a 90th minute winner against Club Brugge. Wow.

Decent finish. Birmingham fans going mental.

They wont Officially announce this until new years day, although we will know sooner hopefully.

Probably parade him at the Huddersfield game and give him his first start :)

Unless the FA want extra time to give clearance Clarence?! Roger Roger, What's your Vector Victor?

Well put it this way. We've not heard that it's fell through, which we would've done by now if it had.

I've never seen the guy play live, but the more I read about him the more I like the sound of him.

I just read this article: http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/chris-wood-proves-his-value-but-now-everyone-has-noticed-8424890.html

Here is a quote from it:

Brighton’s late equaliser in a 2-2 draw was not a terminal blow to Millwall’s promotion chances but losing Chris Wood next month may well be.

The on-loan West Brom striker scored twice and is quickly becoming the hottest property in the Championship with the transfer window less than two weeks away.

Wood has scored 10 goals in 18 games since joining in September but his loan expires on January 1 and Millwall have yet to agree a permanent deal.

The 21-year-old has attracted the interest of a number of Championship clubs with Leicester and Brighton reportedly ready to make a move.

Manager Kenny Jackett wants to break the club’s transfer record with a £1million bid when the window opens and, on last night’s evidence, it is easy to see why. Leading the line as a lone striker, Wood provided so much more than his two expertly taken goals.

His hold-up play and ability to link up with team-mates, coupled with an understanding of when to drop deep and when to stretch the opposition defence with runs in behind showed a maturity beyond his years.

When his first chance arrived after 25 minutes, a deft near-post flick from Shane Lowry’s low cross displayed predatory instincts and had Millwall ahead. The New Zealand international’s second goal, a dipping effort from 30 yards to double that lead shortly after the break, was equally impressive.

When Millwall lost possession, he hustled and harried to win it back. He was withdrawn two minutes from time to a standing ovation from the travelling fans.

Jackett said: “I don’t have any further news, you will have to ask people above me. But do we like him and would we like him here? Of course we would.

Most hilarious thread on the Millwall forum. Just a couple of my favourites:

money grabbing ****, i hope he breaks both legs, his spine and his neck in his very first game for those nonce *****

and

They Foxes are a weird mix of dumb and even ****ing dumber fans. if Woods wants to move into that dreary area and play for that Dreary club then let him.

lol

Millwall fans really? Nothing club never will be anything feel sorry for them majorly. They really are clueless though on that forum especially the comment about Kane he has been injured for most of the season so yeah he will score loads of goals on the treatment table

Courtesy of James Nursey, he's set to sign a 3.5 year deal with confirmation soon.

Leicester have completed the signing of Chris Wood from WBA on a 3 1/2 year contract, for a fee believed to be around £1.25m + add ons. :D

Prefer Kermorgant myself.

But Wood will do.

Bye Futacs, here's to hoping Knockaert isn't out for a couple of months, because of a breakdown.

Gonna be honest not seen him play but judging from what I've been told and what I have read on here he sounds like a good signing, Will obviously have to see him play before I make my own judgement. Can see this being the end of Futacs unfortunately as I don't think he's had much of a chance but that's football.

There have also been rumors that Millwall won't do a deal with us for Liam Trotter because of Chris Wood.

They are a doing a Hull now..

Seems a bit silly.

We've signed a player who wasn't theirs and whose loan spell was due to expire anyway.
