Maybes Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Lost touch the last couple of days...so has this deal actually been sorted?
Beeza Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Brilliant. Best laff I've had over Chrissy
kingfox Posted 27 December 2012 Author Posted 27 December 2012 Chris Wood is set to have a medical at leicester on Thursday! Will apologise to you. Thought you was talking utter crap, but it seems you were kind of right. Still sort your hair out though

Carl the Llama Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Brilliant news. Tbf to the Millwall fans they aren't all mouthbreathers - quite a few on twitter thanking him and wishing him luck. Some of out lot looking equally knuckle-draggy.
Mark_w Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Brilliant news. Tbf to the Millwall fans they aren't all mouthbreathers - quite a few on twitter thanking him and wishing him luck. Debatable.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Silly question is Wood going to be our 'big centre forward' in the mold of Rickie Lambert or Grant Holt who have proved successful in this league and the Premier??? I would imagine that messrs Vardy, Nugent and Waghorn will score heck of a lot more with him up front.
ronnup Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 This could be the signing that pushes us into the next bracket.
ian the fox Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 This could be the signing that pushes us into the next bracket. Absolutely 100 % nailed it
Fox92 Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 This could be the signing that pushes us into the next bracket. Totally agree, and I also believe this.
dannythefox Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Great signing but people need to calm down because if he doesnt score in the first game fans will want his head on a plate.
Poakey Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 This could be the signing that pushes us into the next bracket. Is he that good?
smudger63 Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Great signing but people need to calm down because if he doesnt score in the first game fans will want his head on a plate. Also, we will have to hope that he will be running around like a headless chicken, otherwise we will have some of our fans moaning that he is lazy, disinterested and has a bad attitude!
smudger63 Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Is he that good?No idea, but from the reaction of some on here, they have obviously seen lots of him, and believe he is our new savior, that will take us to the promised land, so maybe we should just go with what they say. Then again, maybe not!
GLC Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Don't think I've been this excited about a player since we signed Nugent and Kasper
Collymore Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 He was always very handy on football manager
Danizen Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Don't think I've been this excited about a player since we signed Nugent and KasperAnd Mills. Don't forget Mills.

Then again, maybe not! I can be included with that reaction. I'm not suggesting he is a saviour, but he certainly knows where the net is.
Happy Fox Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Has a one goal in every 3 games record at this level. One in 2 this season so if he can get 12-15 goal for us this season that would be great.
AKCJ Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Has a one goal in every 3 games record at this level. One in 2 this season so if he can get 12-15 goal for us this season that would be great. Yakubu scored 1 in 2 for us. 10 in 20 or something close. If Wood can do that, and Nuge keeps up his ratio then we'll be laughing.
thybluefox Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Yakubu scored 1 in 2 for us. 10 in 20 or something close. If only we had the chance to sign him again.
AKCJ Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 If only we had the chance to sign him again. Made me laugh the people that said 'all he did was score goals'.
Danizen Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Made me laugh the people that said 'all he did was score goals'. It's like saying, "I'm married to Scarlett Johansson but all she does is stand there and look stunning."Madness. I do believe Chris Wood is the man to put some of these chances away for us....
Poakey Posted 27 December 2012 Posted 27 December 2012 Has a one goal in every 3 games record at this level. One in 2 this season so if he can get 12-15 goal for us this season that would be great. Who did he play for previously to get 1 in 3?
