lcfcsnow Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 what has Futacs done for lcfc since hes arrived? someone inform me..... He's not good enough just like every other striker on the books bar Nugent.
NewburyFox Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 What is the excuse when we win? That we physically out battle a side? Give me a break, we havn't out battled a side since M'ON left. When we win it's because we play well, we keep the ball and move it around. We are not doing that today and it's that reason why we're not holding the ball. We need a midfield that (if we're going to play this passing game) can actually hold onto the ball and pass it around without being blown over by a swift breeze. And we're not doing it today because we've been out-battled, second to every loose ball and they haven't let us play. In case you haven't noticed, there's a team that's trying to stop us playing and by the sounds of it they've done exactly that today. This was just so depressingly inevitable and predictable.
Oadby Fox Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 Boro have snatched a late one. We haven't sounded like scoring at all in this this game. How many shots have we had? 13, Six on target...
Grewks Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 Why are we so inconsistent people ask..... Because we try and play the same ****ing 11 players each week. The most successful team in football history have only named a unchanged side 3 times under fergie. We cannot just impose our style on teams, we are too weak and never up for the physical battle, hence we are often so poor in the winter.
steveherbe Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 Bilbo, well done: Posted 08 December 2012 - 05:17 PM Bilbo, on 14 November 2012 - 09:36 PM, said: Ipswich - 3 points Sheffield Wednesday - 3 points Leeds - 0 points Derby - 3 points Barnsley - 1 point Millwall - 0 points I wish I'd put some money on this now, would've been sorted for Christmas.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 Have said it before - we can't mix it when we're playing teams who are very physical.
Carl the Llama Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 And we're not doing it today because we've been out-battled, second to every loose ball and they haven't let us play. In case you haven't noticed, there's a team that's trying to stop us playing and by the sounds of it they've done exactly that today. Think I'll wait til someone at the match gives their impressions ta.
AKCJ Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 Morons why? It's true that we keep on losing against physical teams, happened with Wolves, Crystal Palace, Watford and probably today. Remind me the last time a team went up bullying teams everyweek without playing well. Doesn't happen.
ADK Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 It is worrying though. Same with Leeds, we knew what Millwall would be like yet we couldn't think of anything to counter them. All they did was play their standard game and completely dominated us. We could play 10 hours of football and never score a goal.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 He's not good enough just like every other striker on the books bar Nugent. Nail. Head.
coolhandfox Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 Poor, all too predictable! Little fight, sound just like the leeds game!
ithuriel Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 This could be a very bad December, i worry for Nige if we drop out of the top six :xmassad:
kingfox Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 Remind me the last time a team went up bullying teams everyweek without playing well. Doesn't happen. When we control games, and Drinkwater and King play well - we usually win When Drinkwater and King struggle against the more physical sides in the division - we usually lose It's not hard to notice this unless your a thick t**t.
foxesfan1989 Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 Nugent is the kind of striker promotion contenders would want. The rest? Doubtful.
acooling08 Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 5 minutes... we haven't created a chance in the previous 45... BUT CMON LEICESTER!!
SMX11 Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 No creativity, no fight and no points. Sadly it is getting easy to predict such performances.
Grewks Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 Remind me the last time a team went up bullying teams everyweek without playing well. Doesn't happen. Stoke??? The trouble is we are not a good enough footballing side to avoid this, we are not swansea, and even norwich played better football than us but had physical strikers e.g. holt. At this level no matter how much good football you play you still need someone to get on the end of a cross in a box, which we do not have.
ADK Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 Actually wouldn't mind Pearson getting the boot, we just lose consistently against the same teams. Yet we have a decent squad, i think with a decent manager we could still get promoted.
NewburyFox Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 Think I'll wait til someone at the match gives their impressions ta. Listen to the commentary, it's blatently obvious what's happened. The midfield have been outbattled, we've resorted to going long and the strikers can win nothing against Millwall's two big CBs.
THEFATBASTARD Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/assists/_/league/eng.2/english-league-championship?cc=5739# we have created nothing second half.. away from home the midfield is the problem.
ozleicester Posted 15 December 2012 Author Posted 15 December 2012 Disappointing result, sounds like weve been well and truly beaten
foxesfan1989 Posted 15 December 2012 Posted 15 December 2012 We need strengthening or it's play offs. To make the playoffs**
