Ozwin Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 Just remembered earlier got my volunteering tomorrow. Thought I'd got a day at home. Have to work out how to spread my five hours of paid work. I must do more than that on my PC. Go and see City on expenses.three hours, write a report in pub after game one hour, type it up one hour. Sorted. You have the worst writing style I've seen in ages mate, I have no idea what you're bleedin' on about half the time.
foxfanazer Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 Excellent .The jobs yours. Can you start this Saturday?
Guest ttfn Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 Lamby if you really, really can't give up two away days to pay for this Sage course, just ask your parents if you can have 2 weeks rent-free. I'm sure they'd see it as a worthwhile investment in your future. Either that or they'd tell you to stop being such a moron and just not go to these away games.
Finnegan Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 I put it to Mark that banning this useless cvnt permanently might actually free up a bit more of his time for job searching and, hence, be good for the economy and country in general. I'd go so far as to say it's FoxesTalk's social responsibility.
The People's Hero Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 If you cut out all your bets for a month, you'd near on have that £65.
Rincewind Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 He gambles as well? It is so easy to do though. Out of work. Short of cash. Pass bookies every day. There were a couple of times I have thought I'll put a fiver on a cert and it will give me a few more quid' Then I thought Yes it may but that fiver will rise to 10 then twenty then before I know it I'll be putting all my weeks money on a cert to get back the twenty. Pack it in.

Pack it in. Well, yeah. Gambling is a mugs' game and you gamble what you can afford to lose. This joker lives at home with his parents, so he probably can afford a little bet, but to say he can't afford a £65 Sage course, when he's spending money on supermarket meal deals, beer and betting unnecessarily is ridiculous.
indierich06 Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 You ever tried to get a job as a steward at Charlton? Two birds, one stone. My mate's mum is the head steward at Charlton and she employs some right gimps.

I'd go so far as to say it's FoxesTalk's social responsibility. I've given him a warning for trolling because I refuse to believe he's actually for real - "I can't afford a £65 course that will help me get a job in Admin but I can afford to go to all Charlton games except for 6 so far this season". Jesus fucking wept.
James. Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 Of course he's trolling, can't believe people are still actually giving him advice. You have to be suspicious of any person that comes on here as a fan of another football team and then doesn't leave, classic way of drawing attention to yourself. He went through a phase not long ago of just dropping incredibly contentious comments into threads about stuff he knows nothing about. And he's probably lied about getting blow jobs more times than most people have actually had blow jobs. Case closed, ignore/ban him, let's move on.
Finnegan Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 I almost feel a little something has died between us since you've started moderating others. You slag.

My mate's mum is the head steward at Charlton and she employs some right gimps. I tried for a steward job at Leicester. Got an interview but while there it was suggested I would be best suited on the car park. Talked to the woman in charge. They were not advertising but if cleared by finace dept I had a good chance. Not heard anything so I expect the club cannot afford the £6.19 5 hours PW

Agreed, its all about priorities, unfortunately this mug is putting gambling, football, bought sandwiches and beer before looking for a job and helping himself. There is a huge difference between cant work and won't work, and it seems to me Lazy Lamby as I now call him fits into the last category .Pleading poor me ,but in all honesty he has reduced his working options by more than half and I dread to think with that attitude towards work how he comes across in an interview.I do feel sorry for people who want to better themselves but can't,but this isn't the case.Interviewer"hello Lamby, take a seat. Thanks for coming to the interview for the advertised post" Lazy Lamby"before I sit down,I'm not working Saturdays and where is the bookies?" Please Lamby help yourself pal,you are not covering yourself in glory here.Take some of the good advice and prove you can do it.Seems like you are putting some effort in re applying for jobs, but you can be a busy fool rather than working smarter and probably getting results with less effort.Make a few short term sacrifices.

Finnegan Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 Can you ever forgive me? Yeah. Ban the ****. (Him, not me.)
Rincewind Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 Found this on my job search. http://www.jobsite.co.uk/worklife/4-things-shouldnt-be-on-cv-9979/?utm_source=worklife&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Jan13ed2 Some interesting replies, especially this one. Drewzzr • 10 months ago In reality, recruiters are looking for reasons to reject you. Applying on-line via an agency or speculatively? Beyond molding yourself out of plastic and writing a CV which decants, verbatim to the job specification, you are wasting your time. Recruiters can pick and choose in the current climate. Remember, agencies are working for commission and are working in the best interests of their client, not yours as a job seeker. With so many CV's to read, it's a boring task which needs speed and ruthless efficiency. Recruiters have all manner of personal preferences and prejudices too. If you have been out of work for a while, are above a certain age, had too many jobs etc. you know where this is going right? If you are desperate and NEED work, don’t expect sympathy or fair treatment in the current job market.
Walker Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 Lamby, genuine question- Have you physically printed 20 CV's and gone to your local high street with a smile on your face handing them out at bakeries etc?
foxfanazer Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 Lamby, genuine question- Have you physically printed 20 CV's and gone to your local high street with a smile on your face handing them out at bakeries etc? too busy getting imaginary blowies
MooseBreath Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 Pretty obvious that lamby doesn't want a job, at least not a job where he has to do something. Have you considered medical trials, lamby? You just need to sit there while they inject you with shit and runs tests and you get paid handsomely in return. There is a risk that something might go wrong and you could die but let's face it, being dead is better than working Saturdays.
Walker Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 too busy getting imaginary blowies I'm just trying to work out if he's a WUM. Surely he can't be for real?! Rincewind Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 I have been looking at my job alerts that match my information. One was in Dussledorf. Have they relocated that place to within 16 miles of Leicester?

So perhaps they've given this place a similar name in tribute to that?
foxfanazer Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 I have been looking at my job alerts that match my information. One was in Dussledorf. Have they relocated that place to within 16 miles of Leicester? maybe Hinckley is twinned with dusseldorf?
Rincewind Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 I'm not sure, I've never heard of Dusseldorf. There is a Dusseldorf in Germany? So perhaps they've given this place a similar name in tribute to that? I meant there. Just never checked the spelling. I do get more alerts for places outside of Leicester. Anyway found one today to apply for and fail. Not being negative here. The specifications are just outside my search criteria and I am sure there will be applicants that match. I have the part time job and when I go to the job centre I shall say it's a minimum of five hours.
Rincewind Posted 25 January 2013 Posted 25 January 2013 maybe Hinckley is twinned with dusseldorf? maybe Hinckley is twinned with dusseldorf? Hinckley's just about in my traveling range depending on weather, train times and shift times but I am starting a job soon. Only a few hours initially but the hours could be flexible. Pays not bad and I get expenses for seeing sport and entertainment events. How can I turn it down?
