Majority of ours didn't want to know if we sung anything pro-Leicester but as soon as it was "going down going down" or even worse "Rovers, Rovers, ROVERS" (stood there and facepalmed) then everyone was out in force. The worst thing is the people singing it think it's genuinely funny. C-Man's dead right. Can count on one hand the number of genuinely witty chants sung by us or aimed at us in the last five years. I don't enjoy Diwali lights and I don't want to embrace other cultures. If we got called up for war these areas like highfields , saint Matthew would be deserted. Officially there is no such thing as race called English any more only British. So if I had been born in India would I be classed as Indian by the Indians ? I think you know the answer to that one. For what it's worth Ronnie I have no problem with any cultures in Leicester, how are they going to harm me or my way of life ? I work with and socialise with many different people from all cultural backgrounds and that has done nothing but enriched my life never threatened it. The problem is that it isn't acceptable to view other cultures as inferior to your own. Human beings cannot be judged on their race, feel free to judge them on their personality but not their ethnic background. If you don't like the behaviour of certain people then stay away from them but be aware that not all Asian women are like the "burkahed up woman spitting everywhere" that you were all too pleased to describe. Apart from the odd half decent restaurant and the occasional exotic hotty what exactly does foreign culture contribute? Nobody actually likes all those silly tribal dances, the music is mostly terrible and I wouldn't wear a sombrero or a sari if I was thinking straight.
