Deucalion Posted 14 August 2013 Posted 14 August 2013 Jealous to death! I don't get to go to Sri Lanka every year, something came up which allowed me to. So it will for you sometime too. Followed by sitting on the toilet morning, noon and night. You don't think this will sit well with my IBS ??

I'm going for 3 weeks this October. 8 days in LA, 2 days driving up Pacific Coast Highway and then the rest in San Francisco. Just doing some research on places to visit along the coast aswell as catching some Sport while I'm there (Lakers, Kings and 49ers should be doable)Saving Nevada for another trip but will message you with some more stuff I'm doing once I have it all in place.

Pretty much doing it all there. Just make sure you hit Santa Monica in LA and if you can squeeze it in go down to San Diego and get across the border to Tijuaina in Mexico, you'll see some sights you don't think possible.
Guest MattP Posted 16 August 2013 Posted 16 August 2013 Just booked a weekend in Zagreb with the lads, one before Christmas. Should be a good jolly up.
Webbo Posted 16 August 2013 Posted 16 August 2013 Just had a tax rebate for £1,368.09. They own me about £200. I'm stilling waiting for the cheque.
Guest Posted 16 August 2013 Posted 16 August 2013 Just had a tax rebate for £1,368.09. That's a good holiday destination. Plenty of sun and sea around the £1, 368.09 region.

FoxLAD Posted 30 August 2013 Posted 30 August 2013 Not Necessarily a holiday more work.. but still kind of both. going to the Antarctic for 3 months in November .. Could be interesting
Fox42 Posted 30 August 2013 Posted 30 August 2013 At Bournemouth now. Their Air Festival has been spectacular so far.
Merging Cultures Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Booked Cape Town for Christmas and New Year. Our son will be born there, so family are coming down from the UK, Cayman and Jamaica to visit. Very excited.
Rincewind Posted 1 September 2013 Posted 1 September 2013 Not sure when my next holiday will be. My brother in the Lake District is moving to a smaller house in Cockermouth so don't know what room he'll have if others stay over. I have a sleeping bag though. Will be easier to get to though. Coach stops there an I can get a train to Workington then bus to Cockermouth. Plenty of pubs there that do accommodation. But then again I might decide to go somewhere completely different when all my financial issues are sorted out. If I go abroad though will need my passport renewing. Somewhere at Christmas would be nice. Somewhere remote away from repeated Xmas specials on the TV and the Queens speech. Scotland? And stay for NYE.
