The People's Hero Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 We did thrash them 6-1 in the league if that's what you're thinking of? But yeh Forest are world beaters. Good point. **** the rest of the season. We beat Huddersfield 6-1. That's us done. Season is a success.
21st Century Fox Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 I'm going to try something new: I'm off for a shave, let's hope it's a lucky one. It'll just itch when it grows back.
Asha Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Well at least we're not 4-1 down at home to Peterborough
dedlock Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 We lack imagination and penetration. Teams 'park the bus' and we don't have the answer.
Guest Bilo Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Oh yeah I remember when they had no permanent manager and loads of injuries and we thrashed them and knocked them out of the fa cup. I do remember us absolutely smashing them 6-1 with a full team though as we scored 12 in 3. C'mon mate, you're better than this 'Pearson out' schtick as soon as things start going against us. Don't be a thinking man's DT.
Onions Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Morons wanting Pearson out...........probably want Sven back.
The People's Hero Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 I'm precious over the need for stability and think Pearson has done more than any other recent manager to set us on the right path. What benefit would another round of instability and revolving door nonsense have? It probably wouldn't but if its not right, you change it. I'm not fickle. I've always had my reservations about NP. I've accepted we've had good results at times. There are a lot of posters though who hang on his every word and think he's a legend for steering us to a play off position. He's hugely over rated.
Guest Bilo Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Ooh look. Fox92 getting all excited cos his beloved Forest might be stepping out of the circle of mediocrity for the first time this season. Bless 'im.

Vacamion Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 If Boxing Foxes can have a shave to try and change our luck, I'm going to use a different font. Living on the edge...
AKCJ Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Paul Gallagher and Lloyd Dyer on for Knockaert and Marshall. ****ing perfect.
The People's Hero Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 We lack imagination and penetration. Teams 'park the bus' and we don't have the answer. Yes we do. The answer is accept defeat and make sure vardy and waghorn get on for their appearance money. Oooh. Dyer and Gallagher. NP has made a change.
Kitchandro Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Good point. **** the rest of the season. We beat Huddersfield 6-1. That's us done. Season is a success. So do you think Forest are a really good side because they're thrashing Huddersfield or not? It was your point, not mine.
steveherbe Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Paul Gallagher and Lloyd Dyer on for Knockaert and Marshall. ****ing perfect. Oh dear, back to the League 1 days.
masterg59 Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 We did thrash them 6-1 in the league if that's what you're thinking of? But yeh Forest are world beaters. they did win the European cup has nobody mentioned it lately
FoxyPV Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Gallagher and Dyer on. The BBC London commentator said that Gally has a goal in him
Please Hammer Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 It probably wouldn't but if its not right, you change it. I'm not fickle. I've always had my reservations about NP. I've accepted we've had good results at times. There are a lot of posters though who hang on his every word and think he's a legend for steering us to a play off position. He's hugely over rated. I think you're hugely overstating people saying he should stay. Just because we'd rather keep him then knock him out for a run of bad form doesn't mean we think he's a legend. You have this way to make everyone that isn't you sound like a loony
BoneDog Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 The only thing that'll get us back into 2nd spot now is if we can tempt Ron Atkinson out of retirement.
Guest Bilo Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 The only thing that'll get us back into 2nd spot now is if we can tempt Ron Atkinson out of retirement. Similar views on black players to Paolo Di Canio at least.
Fox92 Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Ooh look. Fox92 getting all excited cos his beloved Forest might be stepping out of the circle of mediocrity for the first time this season. Bless 'im. Actually I laughed because you said they are beating a poor team, and The Peoples Hero rightly said we didn't even beat them in the Cup. But as always, you refer back to the Forest references. Not that I mind, of course. It's just that they are getting predictable and boring now, in fact, they are older than the book itself. But carry on.
