Zingari Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 Surely PSG wouldn't want Knockaert?? I doubt it too , PNE maybe.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 If we don't get promoted I can see our owners calling it a day...
kingfox Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 You caught a few. I was being sarcastic. Nice fishing though, what did you catch?
flowwolf Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 Any scout watching that pathetic performance last night would have gone at half time , rang their clubs from the comfort of a nice warm hotel and told them " please don't send me on a fools errand like this again "
Danno Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 Don't know many teams above us that would want them , premier league rejects most of them
theessexfox Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 No Premier League club will come in for Kasper if they watch him dealing with crosses. Knockaert may go to a bottom half Prem club. Vardy (hopefully) De Laet could easily play in the Premier League.
muzzy1981 Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 Can't see many going. As someone rightly said though if the owners then could be different story
dannythefox Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 How likely are players to leave if we don't go up. Schmeical 95% Morgan 25% Drinkwater 30% James 20% Knockaert 95% Wood 60% Nugent 70% Everyone else, who cares. Nugents more of chance leaving than Wood? No chance and I dont think anyone will leave.
Corky Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 If we don't get promoted I can see our owners calling it a day... With John Elsom and Barrie Pierrepoint returning to take over.
Ashley Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 I was being sarcastic. Nice fishing though, what did you catch? Oh Really? Who would of thought you still got nibbles.
shade Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 if these jerk city rollers aren't good enough to get us promoted, who would want their failure-riddled bodies at their club ?
Deucalion Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 If we don't get promoted I can see our owners calling it a day... Someone says this every year. What would they gain by going? I don't think we are likely to lose anyone the manager wants to keep. Schmeichel wouldn't want to sit on a Premier League bench, Knockaert has loads to learn and is at a good place to do it, Wood has signed for first team football, Nugent is settled... The person we possibly risk losing is someone who is out of contract in the Summer. Not everyone would see it as a bad thing.

Can't see it happening quite yet.
49er Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 Wellens, Dyer, Beckford, Danns, Gallagher, Konchesky
flowwolf Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 Wellens, Dyer, Beckford, Danns, Gallagher, Konchesky Hang on they are a loss ?
tylesta Posted 20 February 2013 Posted 20 February 2013 No Premier League club will come in for Kasper if they watch him dealing with crosses. Knockaert may go to a bottom half Prem club. Vardy (hopefully) De Laet could easily play in the Premier League. Željko Kalac
deejdeej Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 The thought of starting another season of a championship rollercoaster hurts to think about! Let alone losing some of our better players.
CKB Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Could struggle to hold onto, Morgan, Kasper, Knockaert and possibly Nugent
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 Sorry what? I think his point may be that Zeljko couldn't handle crosses and could barely catch when he played for us at age 24. Then he ended up playing Champions League football for AC Milan.
AyewJoking Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 I dont think anyone is good enough for the Premier League and we are amongst the best in the Championship so unless NP says so, I cant see anyone leaving if we dont go up this year. However the question is will NP still be in charge if we dont go up.
MooseBreath Posted 21 February 2013 Author Posted 21 February 2013 Depends on how we don't go up. If we start to experience some severe rot and slip uncontrollably down the table and finish out of the playoffs with NP floundering around with nonsensical team selections and transparent defiance then he'll be gone and some would argue with good reason. However if we finish fairly strongly and land a decent play off spot, followed by a decent but ultimately fruitless showing in the play offs, then I think he'll be given another year.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 The only player I'd be bothered about going is Wes. Really not fussed about Knocky, he can be a delight to watch and make an impact at the same time he can put us into trouble and when he's not performing we're playing with ten men.
Swalker Posted 21 February 2013 Posted 21 February 2013 I'm probably get hammered for this but Drinkwater really is overrated by our fans! It amazes me that people seem to miss every bad ball he plays and only see the good ones
