kylestyle06 Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Too early for this? Palace have not scored in 5 consecutive game. They are on a free fall and the fans are on Hollowhead's back! It could be very interesting, and I can see a high scoring game. I would be happy with a draw and then a win against Watford! We can do this! :chant: :scarf:

Adster Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Palace haven't scored in five? What about their messiah? Hasn't the team won any penalties for him to convert in the last five or something?
Loggy88 Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Hollow head always gives us you a chance with the way he sets his teams up playing attacking football leaving space at the back. I can see us winning at Palace, in some ways last night was the tougher game out the two of them. I still believe we can do it.
raba Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Morning chaps & firstly congratulations on your execellent win last night. Yes, our results are rubbish, two draws and four defeats from the last six and gone from scoring for fun to a barron spell of two scored and thirteen conceded. The only thing in our favour is that other teams seem to have lost their bottle. We also have a game in hand but it's away to Millwall & we have no joy away. We dominated the game last night and conceded two from massive errors and a worldy. Holloway's record for us against teams he managed - played two, lost two. I'm hoping for a good game on Saturday, no injuries or suspensions for either of us for the run in & of course I would love three points. My prediction unfortunately is Palace 1 Leicester 2.
Happy Fox Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Very tough game but if we play anything like we have done for the past three games in which are starting to show our form from the earlier part of the season till January we should win this game.
Swarles Barkley Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 If they havent scored in five they are bound to score against us
raba Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Palace haven't scored in five? What about their messiah? Hasn't the team won any penalties for him to convert in the last five or something? Our messiah? Is that Murray who rarely takes our penalties? The thing you've got to look at Adster is the way the penalties have been given. Two pacey wingers running at defenders in the box. Any other team with wingers as fast & skillful as ours would get their share of penalties as well.
foxfanazer Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Didn't think this game would matter, thought we'd already be out of contention. NOW IT IS HUUUUUGGE!!!! Every game now is the biggest of the season! What a time it would be to hit our best form. The midfield is starting to look good again with Kingy and James. We have also started to score a couple now so all we need is to stop these individual errors. Will be interesting to see how we shape up against Palace! Same team? Do we have a go at them or do we try and contain them for an hour and then hav a go? Personally if get in their faces right from the get go, their confidence must be low so let's get an early goal or two. COYB!!
Happy Fox Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Kasper De Laet Morgan Keane Konchesky Knockaert King James Dyer Schlupp Wood Subs: Nugent, Logan, Whitbread, Drinkwater, Marshall, Moore and Kane.
Buzzell Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Same team as last night, another tight game. 2-1 to us. Wood and Knocky.
marbelladave Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Fingers crossed we sneak a narrow win That is usually NFP's attitude and will probably get us beat, we are woeful when we try to contain. Get after the bastards and fook them up........

Murray's scored at least 7 or 8 penalties this season. And taken at least 10. They still need to be out away though.
TrentFox Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Palace haven't scored in five? What about their messiah? Hasn't the team won any penalties for him to convert in the last five or something? Sssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!! Don't you know how the Leicester City football Gods work, by now ????!!!!!!!! Jeez !!!
raba Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Murray's scored at least 7 or 8 penalties this season. And taken at least 10. They still need to be out away though. Quite. What I'm trying to say is that of his thirty goals this season they haven't all been penalties and he isn't our usual penalty taker, unlike Andy Johnson when he was top English scorer in the Premiership, second top scorer behind Thierry Henry that season I believe?
Ric Flair Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Holloway has never won against us since he relegated us, in fact I think he's only gotten one draw and 5 defeats? We should have won the one we drew as we were 3-1 up I think? We should be well up for this, it'll be a battle and even with his muck record and the poor run they are on, we're Leicester and we don't do things by the book. Team selection is a big question for me. Does he stick with the same team and formation or change it? Palace will play with 3 in the centre of the park and we've always come undone vs teams who play this way when we've gone with 2 in the middle, especially away from home. Schlupp can play anywhere and Wood can lead the line on his own, unlike Nugent so the front 2 should stay the same as Schlupp can be positioned out wide when defending. I'd slot another in centrally, either Drinkwater for Knockaert or even whack Whitbread in and play Michael Keane in front of the back four. I know this might seem defensive but we're not out our best at the back right now and Palace will get very nervy if they're not getting any space to play on the counter attack.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 same team. Dont think we have ever lost to Holloway since he left us, lets keep that going
Ric Flair Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Murray due a penalty then... It's a disgrace how many penalties we've given away this season. Schmeichel has saved about 3 but we've also conceded about another 10. Our players are quite wreckless and I hope it hasn't cost us a top 6 finish, I suspect it may have.
leicesterlad1989 Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Wouldn't it be nice for a comfortable win?! I suppose we can only dream ha. I think it will be another close "squeaky bum" type of game, as they usually are with us. Being a Leicester fan is always eventful but god I fvcking love the highs...3pts please on Sat!!!!
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Murray due a penalty then... Someone needs to have a quite word with Morgan then
harpendenfox Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 So given the continuing lack of logic in this league, Palace are hopeless and haven't scored in five games. We're nervy but improving and finally have a win. It's obviously got to be a Palace win
indierich06 Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Got my ticket sorted, bang up for this one! "WHEN YOU'RE SMILING, WHEN YOU'RE SMILING, THE WHOLE WORLD SMILES WITH YOU!"
tomtom Posted 17 April 2013 Posted 17 April 2013 Palace v city, then off to Brixton academy to see James. ... A win would make it a day out n half!
