Tom17LCFC Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 Join the club Brighton. Hope Palace get an injury time winner.
Kitchandro Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 Against inferior opposition to whom we faced yesterday. Arguably, but they just looked so much better than us. Better on the ball, better off the ball, it doesn't matter who they were playing. If you play like that you'll give Watford a better game than we did.
Kitchandro Posted 13 May 2013 Posted 13 May 2013 The fact Palace have reached the final shows what a gash league it was this year. Other than Cardiff (who begrudgingly I do rate), Hull are really not that good, Watfinese are hugely overrated and Palace are just plain bad. Makes it all the more frustrating that we blew it back in Feb. We might not have a league this weak again for a while - massive opportunity missed - we should be better than all of those teams. I don't think Palace have many quality players really, a lot of average Championship ones on the whole. On the other hand I've seen them a few times and often they've looked pretty good. They are very physical and use the pace and power at their disposal. Although it has to be said, they win a ridiculous amount of penalties. Hull I find baffling. I've no idea how they finished second, they aren't very good in any particular area.
BHAFC Braders Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 Join the club Brighton. Hope Palace get an injury time winner. Brighton just don't have enough goal scorers really. We did , both we've had some shite luck recently having CMS and Hoskins injured - but hopefully we'll rectify that over the Summer Goodman has come out with some belters tonight. A Palace player is clearly pulled back in the box and he says he just slipped over. Then he has a go at the gutted Brighton fans for leaving, because you know, he's such a hardcore supporter, whoring himself out to all the Midland clubs and all. That was abit shit to be fair - half the problem with the AMEX in fairness , due to what a ballache it is to get out of quickly we always have a chunk of fans leaving early - I stayed to the end in hope btw Against inferior opposition to whom we faced yesterday. Ouch!! last night we were crap but inferior overall? really? Brad will be gutted. As horrible as our defeat was yesterday, it would be unbearable to lose at home to a local rival. Very true , but your guys one is on an even keel , I was properly gutted for you. looks like Brighton have been in touch with our club about the clackers Completely killed the chance of a PROPER attmosphere last night , the game against them on March 17th was brilliant for such but tonight was just clack clack clack - I remember reading your lots thread about it for the Watford league match and we had a nigh on identical thread on our board Yesterday Beyond gutted , but f*** it , Albion and Leicester auto promotion next year!!
purpleronnie Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 Love the fact that the police have thanked the brighton and palace fans last night, no shit... they made a fortune.
MC Prussian Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 Love the fact that the police have thanked the brighton and palace fans last night, no shit... they made a fortune. Well, somehow you've got to justify your budget for next season. The police budget, that is.
Super_horns Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 I did notice Brighton only finished 2 points behind us in the end - feel a bit for them as them and Bolton were the only team in real form at the end of the season but Palace it is. Should be a good game regardless of the result.

Should be a good game regardless of the result. Found it strange that the last time you visited Wembley was 7 years ago, and then the previous time before that was also 7 years. You should have a good day out. Watford's first visit isn't it?
Super_horns Posted 14 May 2013 Posted 14 May 2013 Yes - maybe an omen. We weren't too popular going up last time either with Boothroyd. TBF I think we'd have fans thinking "is this fair/right" if it was another team with lots of players.

Should be a good game regardless of the result. Best of luck for the final mate , can't bare to see that lot go up.
Hollism Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 I'd like Bradford to win this. They probably deserve it after their cup run
purpleronnie Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 I'd like to see bradord win because of the size of the club.
SemperEadem Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Got two Northampton mates so really want them to go up and plus they are an East Midlands team I quite like.
Hollism Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Could see that goal coming a mile off. Bradford easily the better team so far. As above, I'd like to see Northampton do well too because of the locality. I'm happy to see either of these go up
Harry - LCFC Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Imagine being a Bradford fan. First halves don't pan out much better than this!
Cropwellfox Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Northampton fans must be feeling absolutely sick. As one sided a game of football than wembley has seen in years
Cropwellfox Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Is that Clive Platt?! Yes mate more like Clive Prat so far
purpleronnie Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Glad bradford and winning but cant help feel a little for burton, they really threw it away.
ADK Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Northampton fans must be feeling absolutely sick. As one sided a game of football than wembley has seen in years Swansea v Bradford was pretty one sided too
Happy Fox Posted 18 May 2013 Posted 18 May 2013 Bradford are on fire Nahki Wells is some player I actually like the look of Bradford City's left back Meridith as well.
