Frankie Z Posted 10 May 2013 Share Posted 10 May 2013 Rather looking forward to going to watford now. Lets see how much of an atmosphere you can muster. it must be like a European night at the San Siro if you thought last night wasnt great. WYS You either can't read or you're just a bit thick. Didn't say it was bad, just much quieter than I've heard from your place. Disappointing really.

Durnerz Posted 10 May 2013 Share Posted 10 May 2013 It was just like old times.A privilege to be a part of and a night to remember for sure. If we could manage that every home game if we reach the Premiership it'd bring the good times well and truly back.Fans were a credit last night. Haydos Posted 10 May 2013 Share Posted 10 May 2013 We honestly could barely hear you 'til you scored. Honestly. Sorry, but why would our fans at watching tv and on radio say we totally outsang you? Microphones pointing in wrong direction? Read anything in the media. So many comments about how great the atmosphere was throughout. Yeah, it died down a bit when it got nervy in the 2nd half but for 75% of the game it was top. Stop being so bitter.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 10 May 2013 Share Posted 10 May 2013 Not at all, barely heard anything from yours till you scored. Didn't help with all the plastics there I guess, other week was much louder from the away ends point of view believe me.Your obviously a bit of a tool
Kitchandro Posted 10 May 2013 Share Posted 10 May 2013 Watford couldn't even dream of an atmosphere like that at Vicarage Road. Even if they thrashed us 5-0.
Izzet is God Posted 10 May 2013 Share Posted 10 May 2013 Best atmosphere I've seen at KP for a long time. Maybe not quite hitting Filbo atmosphere but nearly there
purpleronnie Posted 10 May 2013 Share Posted 10 May 2013 Maybe watford fans think we're deluded about the atmosphere, but they won't realise how honest our fans are, we're quite unique in that way, we'll say when the atmosphere is poor and we will also praise away fans if its deserved. Maybes Posted 10 May 2013 Share Posted 10 May 2013 Many sections of the media were praising our fans last night and rightly so. Like others have said we often moan about how average the atmosphere is at our ground and we are our biggest critics. There are so many other clubs that create little atmosphere while at home and Watford are one of those clubs on that list. Still struggling to sell out for a play-off semi-final I see. Leicester Lass Posted 11 May 2013 Share Posted 11 May 2013 I honestly didn't think Watford fans were that bad. Certainly a huge improvement on the league game, anyway. Thought they were pretty decent in places, and louder than L1 at times.

Leicester Lass Posted 11 May 2013 Share Posted 11 May 2013 Love their proper version of Sloop John B Yeah, they had that going for a decent amount of time. Easily their loudest spell of the night.
Vlad the Fox Posted 11 May 2013 Share Posted 11 May 2013 Listened to the 5live commentary last night in bed. The atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish. The commentator mentioned how wonderful it was. I half woke up just before Nugent's goal and was back there in a dream like state for the next five minutes as the whole stadium belted out we love you, it really did sound immense. promised land Posted 11 May 2013 Share Posted 11 May 2013 Love their proper version of Sloop John B Not quite as good as this though But that's the problem, it's a Man utd song, sung their by united fans who follow fc united of Manchester. Does it have any connections to Watford or are they just singing it like us with 'we love you'. That YouTube clip is good but you'd guess they're hard core fans who follow fc u of m all over the place.

Come on, if you believe there's any originality in football chants any more then you're deluded. The only one with any connection to us is 'When You're Smiling' and the last time that got a decent airing from us was when we got promoted at Southend. Other than that it's a small number of people who sing it compared to 'We Love You' and the like. Can't use that against Watford fans when we're probably more guilty of that ourselves - We Love You, doing the Poznan, Don't Sell Knockaert etc.

Vlad the Fox Posted 11 May 2013 Share Posted 11 May 2013 Football fans have always copied each others songs, its nothing new and I can't see a problem with it, or any reason to get worked up by it.
