GingerrrFox Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 We have been a different team since Matty James has been injury free. People underestimate how good he is and he's so underrated! Literally the rock in midfield! Not only is he defensively solid but he's also amazingly creative. What a find by Pearson and great effort from the back room staff to keep him fit.
Finnegan Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 He's not "amazingly creative" at all but I agree with the rest of what you've said. Absolute trojan defensively.

MooseBreath Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 It often seems to be the case that when he plays well, we play well.
kingfox Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 One of the best midfielders we have had for a while, for an all round midfielder he is one of the best in the League. Him and King made the difference tonight.
skinnydipper Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 About 77 y'knows in his post match interview on RL !!!!
whoareyaaa Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 Great player, always in control of the situation and prepared to take the extra time and touch and he is all over the pitch!
Tielemans63 Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 It often seems to be the case that when he plays well, we play well. I'd agree with that. Also, I think it's fair to say that we've improved since Drinkwater was dropped. Not all DD's fault as I think he was cream crackered but we've definitely picked up since MJ started playing regularly. Tracks runners better than Drinky that's for sure and reads the game nicely.

Guest Col city fan Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 At last we have a midfielder with both energy AND composure on the ball. The more I watch James the more I like him.
Rasmic123 Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 Him and King were excellent tonight, they covered so much ground and absolutely bossed their midfield
Mike Oxlong Posted 9 May 2013 Posted 9 May 2013 Great game from him tonight. Didn't give Chalobhar a sniff.
darko2k7 Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 Just watched his interview on foxesplayer and I think he is fast becoming my favorite city player Future captain material me thinks !
Dan Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 Said all of last season even when injured he'd prove to be a decent buy. He's been written off early a few times by a fair few of our fans I've noticed, glad he's been proving them wrong.
LCFC FOX Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 Its good to see him doing well in the championship towards the end of last season. Because when I first seen him at Torquay away he was the worst player on the pitch. Which is then why DD and King got the nod and we were doing amazing with them. DD drops form and we go down hill. Saying that James and DD on form should be the CM partnership IMO.
shade Posted 2 July 2013 Posted 2 July 2013 Yes he's a hero indeed, right up there with Nelson Mandela, Albert Einstein and Marie Curie!

Wouldn't be much use if he was. He is a great signing, though. I agree.
