theessexfox Posted 12 May 2013 Author Posted 12 May 2013 Think I've done my wrist slapping the floor. No joke.
bob gregory Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Same why as WHY the fvck did we go so narrow when we looked pretty good until twwt head changed it
Aus Fox Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Same why as WHY the fvck did we go so narrow when we looked pretty good until twwt head changed it Waiting for some Cnut to blame Pearson **** right off
MC Prussian Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 I don't know - why do we keep buying French field players that tend to c*ck it up for us when it comes to penalties??? WHY??
ithuriel Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 I do not blame Pearson but he knew his brief and did not do it, so I would not be surprised to see him go.
lavrentis Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 what the ****, I knew he would miss and then didnt expect watford to score FFS
theessexfox Posted 12 May 2013 Author Posted 12 May 2013 I said to my sister early 'No young Frenchmen taking penalties today...'
Dr The Singh Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 I do not blame Pearson but he knew his brief and did not do it, so I would not be surprised to see him go. This!!! But i knew knocky was going to miss, i knew we were never lucky enough!
Jakemoore Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 I hate to say it and I hope I'm wrong but I think they'll sack NP now, his target was clear and he hasn't delivered. Gutted, tears in my eyes as I type
pazzerfox Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 You should never take a pen that you have just won yourself....golden rule!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Bringing on Kane was a joke. Useless shit he is so NP must take blame for that.
Monsell1976 Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Blame who you want, it wasn't from the lack of effort but this team is clearly not good enough to get promoted. Watford always looked like scoring and we looked dead on our feet by the end.
theessexfox Posted 12 May 2013 Author Posted 12 May 2013 Bringing on Kane was a joke. Useless shit he is so NP must take blame for that. People were calling for him to start after a good cameo in the first leg. Fvck up.
Kitchandro Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 It was us today cos we shot ourselves in the foot. NP has to take the blame for today. In the first half he got it right, the shitness of our defending was our weakness. Second half Pearson had a nightmare though, he let Watford come at us and was Ok with us hoofing it aimlessly to the woeful Wood/Kane. Then, bizarrely, he takes off Dyer and brings on Drinkwater after we concede to sure up the midfield, when it's clear we need a fvcking threat at the other end. Our tactics were always only prolonging the agony, they were always going to score eventually, we got a lucky penalty that we didn't deserve. Why the fvck did he not bring Drinky on before we conceded the 2nd? After we conceded Marshall should have come on. But he NEVER made a 3rd substitution. I always said that our badly out of form strikers, failure to take chances and dodgy defence would cost us, and it did. Kane and Wood were a waste of space and Nugent was playing in midfield. How the hell does that make sense? We were desperate for a threat. Our defending got worse as the game went on, De Laet's too half-hearted, Schlupp was hopeless and Keane was fvcking terrible. Definitely do not want us to renew his loan, we need better. And they all gave them more and more space in the second half. I've no idea why we still have a makeshift left back and a youth who's badly lacking necessary experience. They were both like a rabbit in the headlights today. Way too many mistakes and bad tactics. How on earth did Kane get a 4 year contract at Spurs?
Guest Col city fan Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 The reason why we lost today? Like I said at the start of the season... We lacked just that bit of extra quality. Watford were just about the better side this afternoon. Success and failure are fine margins and these become all important.
