muzzy1981 Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 I'd prob do the same if i had to play for a self confessed racist!!!
dpjfox Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Interestingly West Ham and Fulham (2 clubs previously linked with Kasper) have today signed new goalkeepers , does this mean hes going to Dull/or Swansea or even staying?
StrovolosTiger Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 I think you may well get one more offer from us and then we'll look for better value elsewhere, probably McGregor although we do need 2 goalkeepers.
Bayfox Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 I'd prob do the same if i had to play for a self confessed racist!!! Racist?? Facist maybe.
Webbo Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 I think you may well get one more offer from us and then we'll look for better value elsewhere, probably McGregor although we do need 2 goalkeepers. When you say you think, have you got some sort of inside track on the thinking of your boardroom or are you just blowing it out your arse?
Guest MattP Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 I'd prob do the same if i had to play for a self confessed racist!!! Self-confessed? You have listened to different words from Di Canio than me.
StrovolosTiger Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 When you say you think, have you got some sort of inside track on the thinking of your boardroom or are you just blowing it out your arse? Well we thought £4m excessive for Stockdale and we've had a bid of £2m for MacGregor accepted by Besiktas so it's not exactly rocket science to figure out how much we have budgeted on a goalkeeper.
muzzy1981 Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Racist?? Facist maybe. Any self confessed facist is a self confessed racist imo. I would not play for him and all this he's good for the game is a load of tosh.
Bilbo Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Any self confessed facist is a self confessed racist imo. I would not play for him and all this he's good for the game is a load of tosh. I agree the guy is a dick. People think he's a "character" or "good for the game" when in reality he is just a fascist ****.
oxford blue Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 The Hull local paper suggests that Mcgregor will be signing: And a goalkeeper continues to be his first priority - and a tricky one to judge. Today reports in Turkey say a £1.8million deal between the Tigers and former Rangers keeper Allan McGregor is as good as done. And McGregor's club Besiktas are lining up a replacement in Arsenal's second choice goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski. "Meanwhile the only other club in the frame for McGregor, West Ham, have just signed Real Betis keeper Adrian on a three-year deal. Leicester may be getting a little nervous they asked for £4.5million for as the club could do with the cash to help Nigel Pearson rebuild."

Because we wanted more then 2m? And since when did we have to rebuild?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 "Leicester may be getting a little nervous they asked for £4.5million for as the club could do with the cash to help Nigel Pearson rebuild." That doesn't even make sense. If only Hull was an option on Google Translate.
lestajigs Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 I think the club would rather keep our best keeper in years??
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 I think the club would rather keep our best keeper in years?? If he signs a new deal
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 Schmeichel to stay and sign a new deal... I'm sidekick and can see into the future
Happy Fox Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 I don't think he will sign a new deal, but who cares if he stays one more season it certainly will help us and I will just be pleased with that. Conditional on whether we make the prem or not if we don't next season he will be gone for defo.
muzzy1981 Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 Surely fulham signing a new keeper may mean they will offload stockdale a little cheaper to hull, which may mean Kasper stays Or if fulham want to keep stockdale and Kasper goes then what about schwarzer, he's got to have a good season left, although he may be able to get a better deal elsewhere
Raw Dykes Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 Schmeichel to stay and sign a new deal... I'm sidekick and can see into the future Brilliant!

Manwell Pablo Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 Schmeichel to stay and sign a new deal... I'm sidekick and can see into the future Oh my.....
foxfanazer Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 Mark Schwarzer looking for a new club. If Kasper went, which I really hope he doesn't, I'd be delighted with Schwarzer
surrifox Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 I'll be happy if we dont sell him cheap to the dullards
lestajigs Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 We can't afford to just let him see out a season and go on a free unfortunately. He might get us promoted, weirder things have happened
Guest MattP Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 He might get us promoted, weirder things have happened He might, he also might not and then walk away on a free which a club in our financial position simply cannot risk happening. You can't keep everyone on the wage bill on the off chance they 'mght get us promoted' - Football is a bit more complex than that.
