fleckneymike Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 We need to clear the 'debt', a player exchange is no use to us.
Babylon Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 We need to clear the 'debt', a player exchange is no use to us.It is when we also need players, right money, right player and the club would play ball.
Banks Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 We need to clear the 'debt', a player exchange is no use to us. It gives us a bit of money, plus a player added to our small squad. Works for us!
MPH Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 I was actually referring to our somewhat careful and prudent approach to transfers and bidding compared to your rather more, shall we say, extravagant approach and of our contrasting financial states, in relation to the other guy's concept of "Not going well". Careful and prudent? If you call offering insultingly low offers to both us AND celtic 'careful and prudent' then sure. Whatever floats your boat. Personally I think if you don't stop being so stingy with your offers then you'll end up with a similar squad you came up with and head straight back down... Also, if there are plenty of decent keepers about then why are you STILL bothering with Kasper? Not much of what you have been saying has been making sense recently... especially telling us that three separate sources are saying the deal is almost done!

StrovolosTiger Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 Quality players cost reasonable sums of money to buy, 3rd bid Rejected, can see this is going to take a while! I don't think we'll be back now, better value elsewhere.
Webbo Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 I don't think we'll be back now, better value elsewhere. You've said that before.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 I don't think we'll be back now, better value elsewhere. Good Job! But got a feeling he will be back, Just a game you lot are playing, We all know he is worth more
Libertine Dream Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 Hull are sending all the wrong messages to Kapser as well. If they really wanted him they'd stump up the cash not keep offering low figures on the off chance it will get accepted. If I was him, I'd rather run my contract down than move to a club that hasn't shown great desire to get me and may well be playing at the same level after just one season in the top division
Bettsj2 Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 If the player was Hobbs, i'd take the £2m. If its Stewart, would need to be £3m.

Do you think Kasper Schmeichel doesn't realise that this is a ****ing business deal and that Hull want to haggle? Do you think Kasper Schmeichel's agent wouldn't walk into those contract talks and haggle just as much even if it was ****ing Man Utd calling and they wanted him as their number one?
FoxyPalace.com Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 Think you will find, when Manchester United identify a Target a deal is wrapped up pretty quick! They understand talents costs money hence the Zaha signing! These clowns are going up in 250k increments
MPH Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 I don't think we'll be back now, better value elsewhere. Hallelujah!
pazzerfox Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 I don't think we'll be back now, better value elsewhere. According to you it was a done deal!!

MPH Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 He's out of contract next summer for God's sake. what's with all the aggression? relax, Its an internet forum. Don't take it all so seriously!
StrovolosTiger Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 You've said that before. I said after the second offer that I thought we would have one more go, then walk away. As for the people saying the deal was nearly done, I was being truthful, they obviously had it wrong.
Bryn Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 what's with all the aggression? relax, Its an internet forum. Don't take it all so seriously! I'm just riled because I don't like Hull bashing
fleckneymike Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 It is when we also need players, right money, right player and the club would play ball. Not really, we need to reduce the debt ASAP, Kasper has 1 year left on his deal, any incoming Hull player would (I would assume) be on a 3 year deal minimum, that would eat up any transfer fee gained in no time at all. Selling a keeper and gaining another position doesn't help as now we need to add yet another wage to the debt to fill the keeping void with no guarantee we can shift other players.
Vardinhio Posted 12 June 2013 Posted 12 June 2013 Kasper is going nowhere and certainly not a small club like Hull. He knows they will go straight back down next year.

Not sure why you think this thread is a "complete embarrassment". If I was Kasper I'd move, Premier League football's on the table and the Denmark #1 shirt is up for grabs. But then again, if I was Kasper I'd be surprised that a club who are desperate for a goalkeeper are only willing to pay c. £2 million for the best keeper in the division. I'd probably then question their spending power and ability to stay in the top flight and wonder if I was better off collecting the obscene wage Leicester are paying me for playing second tier football with a view to running down my contract and securing another bumper pay-day in a year's time. For the record a "complete embarrassment" in a football context would probably involve a group of fans doing a "tiger impression" which involves clawing limp-wristedly at thin air.

Lcfclee Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 I don't think we'll be back now, better value elsewhere.does that mean your wont be coming on our forum spouting your bullshite anymore ? Aaa to bad

So no club has ever put in low bids to turn a players head so he demands a transfer. Then at that point the buying club is starting to hold the aces. Big clubs do this all the time oh just like we aws doing with maynard or did you forget that little gem of a joke?
