surrifox Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Are you kidding? We offered around £6 million at one point. that Sven eh- what a joker. What a deal that would have been
Happy Fox Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 That is the end of that one then, thanks Dull for utter stupidity in thinking that you could of got Kasper on the cheap
Libertine Dream Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 This thread is a complete embarrassment and this is just one example I've picked out. Do you think Kasper Schmeichel doesn't realise that this is a ****ing business deal and that Hull want to haggle? Do you think Kasper Schmeichel's agent wouldn't walk into those contract talks and haggle just as much even if it was ****ing Man Utd calling and they wanted him as their number one? I'm sorry for your embarrassment, such is your superiority. This is a club that are supposedly desperate to sign a keeper but seem reluctant to part with cash and are now offering players suggesting their spending power is low, doesn't bode well for future transfers and their attempts to stay in the top division. If I was him I'd still rather in my contract down and go on to bigger and better things than Hull
Lambert09 Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Think you will find, when Manchester United identify a Target a deal is wrapped up pretty quick! Urm didn't we do the exact same thing to them last summer? We offered way below the value of Chester, Stewart and Korean then just kept coming back with tiny increases.... The reason being we thought we were close to there true valuation, you can argue that's what they are doing. These clowns are going up in 250k increments
ealingfox Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Thought the PL was meant to bring untold riches? 4m for a first-choice keeper who has excelled at the level below and got international caps, coming into his prime years, should be an easy decision for a promoted club. We should take 3.5m plus Hobbs, 4m straight-up with add-ons, or 3m plus any Hull player of our choosing

Ric Flair Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Any ideas who this player in exchange is they've supposed to have offered us? It'll be Stewart or Fryatt won't it?
duk3nuk3m Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Any ideas who this player in exchange is they've supposed to have offered us? It'll be Stewart or Fryatt won't it?Or Hobbs?
Lambert09 Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 If it was Hobbs we would have been accepted. It will be Stewart for sure
Kitchandro Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 If it's Fryatt or Stewart I'm not interested. They're supposed to have £150 million and they're making shit offers like this. I'm insulted. Hull dishonoured our good name.
Dan Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 It'll be Stewart. If it's Hobbs then we're mugs for turning it down IMO.
Danizen Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 It'll be Stewart. If it's Hobbs then we're mugs for turning it down IMO.Hobbs is worth about £1m. Our valuation of Kasper is £4m so they're still £1M short. £3M plus Hobbs would work for me.
Number 6 Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Hobbs may have a market value of around £1m but I'd argue that he's worth more than that to us:a team who he knows and who needs a CB.
Callabinho Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 @RobTannerMerc: Good news for LCFC. Sources say Kasper is going nowhere. Would take a ridiculous bid to change City's minds. More in tomorrow's Merc #LCFC
Babylon Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 @RobTannerMerc: Good news for LCFC. Sources say Kasper is going nowhere. Would take a ridiculous bid to change City's minds. More in tomorrow's Merc #LCFC Well I hope that means a new contract then, otherwise it's a stupid decision.
hackneyfox Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Well I hope that means a new contract then, otherwise it's a stupid decision. Agreed, no point in keeping him for the season and then letting him walk away for ****all.
whitlock Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Well I hope that means a new contract then, otherwise it's a stupid decision. If Kasper doesn't sign a new contract, I guess they can wait until Jan and get rid then if needs be.

Les-TA-Jon Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Just to stir things up - I saw Fryatt drive through Loughborough Town centre t'other day...
Babylon Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 If Kasper doesn't sign a new contract, I guess they can wait until Jan and get rid then if needs be. That presumes he's rather go then than hand on for a few months and pick up a huge signing on fee/wage rise.
LCFC FOX Posted 13 June 2013 Posted 13 June 2013 Apparently it was Hobbs who was offered in the dealReally I would accept money and Hobbs tbh
