Schmeichel to go then?

I haven't been to the place, but I swear I heard somewhere that Hull is one of the worst places to live in England. (?)

No, I reckon the board the give him a new contract. :fc:

It was originally named Dull, it's that bad.

Anyway, you'd think they'd have got the message by now. It's protocol for a player to hand in a transfer request after a couple of rejected bids if he wants to go there.

Not happened yet.

swap for koren and chester =about 4mill?

Can't see it being Chester. Easily their best centre half, will probably make a decent PL defender. Certainly the best in our division last season.

Chester is completely unrealistic. He'll be pushing for England place within 2 years and at a good Premier League club.

Hobbs + 2m and i'd be very happy.

Doubt it. Seems pretty clear we are intent on not selling for less than our valuation and good on the Club for having some bottle. Guess that does sort of depend on who the player was though.

He's not better than Morgan. Not yet anyway.

Debatable, although they are both solid at this level. I'd take Hobbs though, I hope he's the player.

Right old Shite pit!

These clowns really do not have a clue!

Another Bid by them made for Hooper at Celtic, Rejected!

Things are really not going that well for them is it lol

Oh!  The irony!

Slightly different situation though, you need massive improvements to compete in the prem where as we need to hang onto players plus add 2/3 first teamers and we should stand a good chance.

Its still too early to say its not going well for either team but on the surface its going better here than for Dull

I presume the "table they left their offer on" was their coffee table. Dear Hull, £3m plus Hobbs and you almost might get a deal.

I think people believe what they choose to believe when it comes to rumours.  A bit like the way Proud_Fox believes that Leicester City will somehow float above FFP completely unaffected.

I have seen information from 3 separate, unrelated people in the last 24 hours saying the deal is almost done, one of which suggested Hobbs MIGHT be involved.  If it happens, it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't, right now I neither believe it nor disbelieve it, as I've said before, there are plenty of good goalies around so missing out on Schmeichel is no big deal.

Apparently not.

I was actually referring to our somewhat careful and prudent approach to transfers and bidding compared to your rather more, shall we say, extravagant approach and of our contrasting financial states, in relation to the other guy's concept of "Not going well".

Quality players cost reasonable sums of money to buy,

3rd bid Rejected, can see this is going to take a while!

We don't want Hobbs!!!! Slow carthorse!

Yeah he's only been part of some of the best defences in this league several years running when he's been fit. Much rather have SSL who hasn't been.

Contrasting financial states? Your owner has pumped in a fortune, our owner has pumped I a fortune. Neither club owe anything but to their owners.
