MC Prussian Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 And Emmanuel Frimpong joins Barnsley. Looks really chuffed, the lad.

Guest Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Kermorgant to Bournemouth - can he play tomorrow?
Langston Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Remember when Frimpong was being labelled as a future England stalwart? Not very good, is he?
marko Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Kermorgant to Bournemouth - can he play tomorrow? Depends if it was completed before 12:00, I believe.
foxfanazer Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Remember when Frimpong was being labelled as a future England stalwart? Not very good, is he? No. Just a social media whore
AKCJ Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Remember when Frimpong was being labelled as a future England stalwart? Not very good, is he? He was brilliant for Wolves when they were last in the PL but he's had a terrible time with injuries. He's a very talented player with a very good workrate. Just a big ego.

Second / third tier will be his level, I'll be amazed if he ever makes it as an established PL player.

MC Prussian Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 And Forest have gone for… a midfielder. David Vaughan joins from Sunderland on a loan deal.
lancyclaret Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Gradel to Charlton bloody hell. That will really upset the Dirty Leeds fans:))
RedHux Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 And Forest have gone for… a midfielder. David Vaughan joins from Sunderland on a loan deal. There's talk of Hobbs mulling over personal terms and Danny graham possibly coming in too.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 There's talk of Hobbs mulling over personal terms and Danny graham possibly coming in too. Which (according to Wikipedia shamelessly) would take your active squad list at the club to 31 players. If you failed to get promoted, will Billy be backed to the hilt like this again, or even be at the club come August 2014?
lancyclaret Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Trippier is superb, both defensively and going forward. De Laet has the minerals to be quality but I feel defensively he's a little erratic, but i'm pleased with him on the whole. Trippier is our only wide threat at the moment - against Brighton on Tuesday he put over 3/4 dangerous VOLLEYED crosses. Unfortunately, Ings and Vokes were kept fairly quiet by Upson and Greer. Seagulls only 10 goals conceded in 14 games on their travels.

What are the surplus 15/20 players going to do on Saturdays?...go shopping with their partners?

Given how itchy the trigger finger of fawas seems to be if bd doesn't succeed this season, he'll probably be gone.
Ric Flair Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Forest really are in trouble if they don't go up, however I think they will do. I'm not ruling them out of automatic yet either. Last night was potentially a defining moment of the season.
lancyclaret Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 You must fancy your chances tomorrow with Austin out, any rumours of Ings leaving today? Actually no, I think QPR will be galvanised by this setback and they have Barton back tomorrow. Bizarrely, despite Charlie's goals, Burnley's results were better last season when CA was out injured - he missed 6/7 games and we won 5 with Paterson, Vokes and Ings sharing the workload. I think QPR might do the same and get better performances if they have to do without CA. I am hope I am wrong, though, and we do have a very good recent record at Loftus Road. Unless someone comes in with a silly offer for Ings tonight (£9-10 million), he will be staying until the summer. Even if we do go up, he is too good for us to keep him beyond this summer.
Corky Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 There's talk of Hobbs mulling over personal terms and Danny graham possibly coming in too. Seems like Graham is going to Middlesbrough.

Difference is you had 3 budding strikers eager to come into the fold to replace him. QPR have 2 unfit mercenaries and now an unknown guy from Athletico Paralympics or something
eye666 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Got to ask what is Hollowhead doing at Millwall? Just shipped out Trotter and Keogh on loan - I'd have viewed them as their best players...?
Stevosevic Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 QPR sign Doyle - nothing to worry about there.
MC Prussian Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 QPR have signed Kevin Doyle on loan. G'won, 'Arry. There's your striker.
