Harry - LCFC Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Decided I want Burnley to win on Saturday. It's good for football when clubs that do it the wrong way fail.
RedHux Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Seems like Graham is going to Middlesbrough. Wouldn't bother me in the least. It's not like we're short of strikers. Or goals for that matter.
Carl the Llama Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 'Arry: The gift that keeps on giving(if you don't support QPR or whoever he's ruining now at the time of reading).
Foxy harry Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Gonna be interesting to see which striker QPR will panic-buy tomorrow. News of Austin out injured and the Inter forward failing to agree terms...I feel another Beckford coming on. Just glad its not us throwing the money around anymore. doyle loan and gulherme dellatorre loan
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Wouldn't bother me in the least. It's not like we're short of strikers. Or goals for that matter. I'm not even sure Danny Graham would get you goals, the great plodder.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Kevin Doyle who has an impressive three goals in 24 appearances at league one level... has signed for them... and some Brazilian guy who is more impressive with 3 in 19. QPR will be deadly in front of goal great replacements for Austin...
Fox92 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Got to ask what is Hollowhead doing at Millwall? Just shipped out Trotter and Keogh on loan - I'd have viewed them as their best players...? When I viewed the Millwall forum, a lot of their fans didn't seem to rate Trotter... Remember we only see these players twice a season, their fans watch them every week. It's like an opposition fan saying to me "yeah that Gallagher is a good player" on the basis of seeing him score a couple of decent goals on television.
Guest ttfn Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Mcdermott sacked by leeds... Ridiculous timing.
Swalker Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Ridiculous timing. Stupid decision! He'd have got them into the playoffs this season!
Stadt Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Apparently they are getting taken over by the owner of Cagliari, but to sack McDermott on the eve of a game is silly.
Swalker Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 I bet Ross McCormack is fuming. How fast the bids will come in for him now! Surely he's leaving
Harry - LCFC Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Stupid decision! He'd have got them into the playoffs this season! They're eight points off 6th. I think it's a bit much to say he'd definitely have got them a play off spot. Don't agree with the decision at all though. Give the bloke time. Back to square one again for them and of course there's always the risk that they won't get a decent manager in.
Unabomber Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 How fast the bids will come in for him now! Surely he's leaving He said he was only staying to play under Brian. I bet he is hoping the bids are still on the table and Leeds accept off of anyone.
Swalker Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 He said he was only staying to play under Brian. I bet he is hoping the bids are still on the table and Leeds accept off of anyone. Makes you wonder if Mcdermott got sacked for not cashing in on him? Must have been some transfer related dispute otherwise it would have been done to allow the new manager to bring their own players in on deadline day

Must have been some transfer related dispute otherwise it would have been done to allow the new manager to bring their own players in on deadline day Maybe but the owners (whoever they are) could have just accepted a bid.
Swalker Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Maybe but the owners (whoever they are) could have just accepted a bid. True! But a sacking of this timing must be transfer related in someway
Libertine Dream Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 He got sacked because the Calgari owner is taking over and wants some ex Boro player to take charge http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/latest-whites-news/leeds-united-cellino-wanted-his-man-in-the-dug-out-1-6405257 Ridiculous timing but very few owners have a clue about anything anymore
KFS Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 So we'll have Watford, Charlton and Leeds' empire building owners to compete with? Should we start calling the Championship the reserve league?
Swalker Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 QPR to go for McCormack, you watch. He'll go premier league! Shocked that he hasn't gone sooner
