Does anyone know what the odds would be on Us, Dierby & florist going up would be?

I think Burnley are gonna do a Blackpool but still stay around the play-off spots & with either florist or Dierby getting second.

Gonna be interesting to see which striker QPR will panic-buy tomorrow. News of Austin out injured and the Inter forward failing to agree terms...I feel another Beckford coming on.

Just glad its not us throwing the money around anymore.

As a Burnley fan, I am also getting fed up of Dyche banging on to the national media about Burnley being cash-strapped compared to the other contenders in the top six.

I think he likes being the underdog but is secretly "pi**ed" off that he has received very little backing in the transfer market from Burnley's stingy directors. Dyche started at Burnley 15 months ago and has only been allowed to sign one player (Ashley Barnes) for a fee.

Dyche has performed miracles but he must realise this is about as far as he can take Burnley on a shoestring budget. I expect him to get head-hunted along with Ings and Trippier, who will sign for a PL club in the summer even if we do go up - Dyche is a miles better manager than Eddie Howe.

Back to mid-table about 11th or 13th next season for us.

How good is Trippier? He often seems to be quoted as the best RB in the division but I've not really seen him play enough to make a judgment.

Trippier has been in the Championship Team of the Season at right-back for the past two seasons when we finished 13th and 11th.

We signed him from Man City along with Ben Mee in a double deal costing £500,000.

There has been talk of Newcastle signing Tripps for £2 million plus.

Sadly, he will be in the PL next season whether we go up or not.

Last season, Trippier laid on 80% of Austin's goals.

Mate, you've been banging on about this for years - we're not going to change our opinion. Fact is that's HOW he took penalties, he practiced in training that way and was the way he thought he'd score in that match. End of.

That's not true actually - I've got a mate who works at the training ground and he said in the training sessions before the playoff games, they practiced penalties. According to form, Yann was absolutely belting them in with power - one of the reasons he got picked to take one. **** knows what actually happened.

It's my opinion that he hadn't made his mind up what he was going to do and changed his mind during the run-up, which is a fatal error.

Makes sense I doubt Pearson would have picked him to take a penalty if he thought he was going to chip it. As for the penalty, he fvcked it up, the trick with that penalty is commit the keeper, chipping the ball down the middle is easy, but he fvcked it up, Marshall went down, had time to get back up have a cup of tea then stop the ball. It was awful, he didn't even chip it down the middle, he chipped it off the right.

Fair play go down the middle, probably the same odds as wide left or right, but hit it, get some power on it, get it in the air. The reason it is a high risk penalty is that if the keeper is anywhere near it he can save it, you blast it, even if the keeper is near it, the power could take it in. An awful and ridiculous penalty to take at the time, he did the hard bit, commited the keeper, then chipped it to him. I'm with Kitchandro on this, it was an arrogant stupid penalty to take, but I have since taken down the Kermogant dartboard and got rid of the voodoo doll.

QPR going after Kevin Doyle. That's just the first name. I'm sure 5 or 6 will be linked with them before 11pm. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Harry signed all 5 or 6 just cos.

Trippier is superb, both defensively and going forward. De Laet has the minerals to be quality but I feel defensively he's a little erratic, but i'm pleased with him on the whole.

Bolton have completed the signing of Luxembourg winger Yannick Bastos from Differdange 03.

Luxembourg out of all places! lol

He better be good.

I should point out that I wouldn't be bothered if people didn't keep defending him.

You just know when you make 3-4 signings in one day there has been barely any scouting gone into it, i feel Harry is making these signings just for the sake of it and can see it failing! I would rather make 1-2 signings every now n then like Pearson does and know full well he has scouted that player and has confidence he can do the business.

If you had to choose between Derby or Forest to come up, who would you choose?

Derby...guaranteed 6 points next season!

Totally agree. I never felt at ease when Sven was here and the transfer window was open
