Why do you keep using italics?

Why don't you try it? What is the problem with a style I prefer to use?

It has absolutely nothing to do with this thread but I suppose you think because you have amassed over 25K posts you think you're in a "superior" position to others.

PS. If it's that offensive why not remove that icon from these boards?

It depends ..... Ask Babylon if he agrees first is the safest way......

Someone pick me off the floor, this guy is a comedy genius.

Have I ever stopped you from posting anything?

It has absolutely nothing to do with this thread but I suppose you think because you have amassed over 8K posts you think you're in a "superior" position to others.

I'll repeat, just for you; it's a style I prefer.

Isn't punctuation taught in schools now?

Plenty of my posts have been deleted for no obvious reason. Glad you laughed, it always makes me smile!

I quite like seeing posts in italics.  It gives them an ethereal, whimsical quality.  I imagine them being whispered in a ghostly voice.  Is perhaps David Hankey communicating with us from beyond the grave?

Italics have also been used in literature for dramatic emphasis, and this may be the poster's intention, but only he will be able to confirm this.

For example, Guy N Smith's classic 'Crabs on the Rampage' contains so much dramatic emphasis more than half of the book is in italics, or so it would seem anyway.

Now it's a long time since I've read this masterpiece (and if you haven't, make sure you put this right immediately!) but I'm pretty sure it contains the line 'look at all those f**king crabs', which surely ranks alongside such classic words as 'Call me Ishmael' and 'Reader, I married him'

Doesn't look like grammar is taught in schools either...

I do find it slightly interesting how most posters with a high post count and stick around for over a couple of thousand posts generally aren't dickheads.

The arsehole:not an arsehole ratio below a thousand posts is a lot more in favour of the former.

Probably because some people on this forum are very good at calling a spade a spade/ a worthless **** a worthless ****, and only the ones that aren't dickheads aren't made aware that they're worthless ***** and so stick around.

I thought that myself too.  lol

I've just recently began to ignore posters, who average around 5000 - 1,000 posts, as they just generally p*ss me off by saying ridiculous comments (with no evidence at all to back up their claims).

Maybe I just prefer to write like this.

Ain't nobody gonna box me in wi' no recommended font size!

Good effort Fez but that post could've done with 8 different colours to really get the point across.
