bmt Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 There's a heck of a lot of toys being thrown out of push chairs in this thread.... This
David Hankey Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Why do you keep using italics? Why don't you try it? What is the problem with a style I prefer to use? It has absolutely nothing to do with this thread but I suppose you think because you have amassed over 25K posts you think you're in a "superior" position to others. PS. If it's that offensive why not remove that icon from these boards?
Babylon Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 It depends ..... Ask Babylon if he agrees first is the safest way...... Someone pick me off the floor, this guy is a comedy genius. Have I ever stopped you from posting anything?

David Hankey Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Alright, calm down, I only asked. Sorry I'm fine, thanks. I know you only asked and I only told you.
MPH Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 I'm fine, thanks. I know you only asked and I only told you. How old are you?
indierich06 Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 How old are you? What is the problem with with his age? It has absolutely nothing to do with this thread but I suppose you think because you have amassed over 8K posts you think you're in a "superior" position to others.
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Maybe if people didn't want me to talk like this all the time they should remove the function from the board? Afterall I do prefer it.

_Fatboyslow_ Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 If you tilt your phone they don't look like italics
David Hankey Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 i read your posts and just think you are quoting someone because you use italics....or is it you just like to be different?! I'll repeat, just for you; it's a style I prefer. If I was quoting somebody i would you these " " Isn't punctuation taught in schools now?
5waller5 Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Someone pick me off the floor, this guy is a comedy genius. Have I ever stopped you from posting anything? Plenty of my posts have been deleted for no obvious reason. Glad you laughed, it always makes me smile!
Bellend Sebastian Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 I quite like seeing posts in italics. It gives them an ethereal, whimsical quality. I imagine them being whispered in a ghostly voice. Is perhaps David Hankey communicating with us from beyond the grave? Italics have also been used in literature for dramatic emphasis, and this may be the poster's intention, but only he will be able to confirm this. For example, Guy N Smith's classic 'Crabs on the Rampage' contains so much dramatic emphasis more than half of the book is in italics, or so it would seem anyway. Now it's a long time since I've read this masterpiece (and if you haven't, make sure you put this right immediately!) but I'm pretty sure it contains the line 'look at all those f**king crabs', which surely ranks alongside such classic words as 'Call me Ishmael' and 'Reader, I married him'

Haydos Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 I do find it slightly interesting how most posters with a high post count and stick around for over a couple of thousand posts generally aren't dickheads. The arsehole:not an arsehole ratio below a thousand posts is a lot more in favour of the former.

The arsehole:not an arsehole ratio below a thousand posts is a lot more in favour of the former. Probably because some people on this forum are very good at calling a spade a spade/ a worthless **** a worthless ****, and only the ones that aren't dickheads aren't made aware that they're worthless ***** and so stick around.

The arsehole:not an arsehole ratio below a thousand posts is a lot more in favour of the former. I thought that myself too. I've just recently began to ignore posters, who average around 5000 - 1,000 posts, as they just generally p*ss me off by saying ridiculous comments (with no evidence at all to back up their claims).

Fez of Mahrez Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Maybe I just prefer to write like this. Ain't nobody gonna box me in wi' no recommended font size!

Guest Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Maybe I just prefer to write like this. Ain't nobody gonna box me in wi' no recommended font size! Good effort Fez but that post could've done with 8 different colours to really get the point across.
The Doctor Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Good effort Fez but that post could've done with 8 different colours to really get the point across. Nonsense I'd have written a whole post like that, but it's a ****ing ball ache to do.
