nickyboy Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Rumours are that Poyet is off......I don't think we need a change, but what are the odds?? Personally I think it's to go Everton, but you never know
Fox92 Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Well he didn't exactly look committed after Brighton's play off defeat. I think he will go Everton as well.
blue heart Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Why should we approach a manager that only got as far as the manager we have currently Seriously I no everyone has an opinion but ffs think before you say dumb stuff
StanSP Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 He thinks £10m isn't enough for him at Brighton. He won't get that here to spend so not a chance this will happen. Anyway, he's no better than Pearson. So...
Harry - LCFC Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Can't say I like him that much, he seems very disloyal and doesn't particularly care who knows about it. Often gives the impression that he's too good for Brighton and wants to move on to a bigger club, Chelsea seeming to be his preferred job. Bit arrogant too, bit too much self entitlement and all that. Having said that, has clearly done a good job at Brighton.
Libertine Dream Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 Brighton fans seem to say he's poor tactically, yes they play good football but is he really that good. Many believe he was behind Wise's success at Leeds and when he left is when it went downhill
Vardinhio Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 He's a winner and he thinks he belongs in the Premier League. He's done a cracking job at Brighton in all fairness but I wouldn't bring him here, he would need to change too much.
5waller5 Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 He's got a small club with limited resources to the same point our manager has got a big club with big resources (for our division) .... for me he's therefore better than our current manager and he plays nice football ...... Tick Tick.
Fox92 Posted 15 May 2013 Posted 15 May 2013 He's got a small club with limited resources to the same point our manager has got a big club with big resources (for our division) .... for me he's therefore better than our current manager and he plays nice football ...... Tick Tick. Not to sure on that one considering Buckley signed for £1million, and how much was Makail-Smith, £3million? (etc...) We played nice football until that poor run of form. Some of the team goals were have scored this season have been excellent. People who want Pearson out seem to want a better experienced manager, yet Poyet has only achieved the exact same as Nigel Pearson (win League One and make the play offs, although Pearson has done it twice). (Not saying Poyet is a bad manager though, clearly he isn't. I do like him, but I want Nige to remain in charge).

Tick Tick. didn't they have the highest attendance gates all season?

Tick Tick. Highest attendances in the Championship played in a brand new £100m stadium having spent millions on the likes of Ulloa, Orlandi and Mackail-Smith? They're hardly Barnsley are they?
Dickov22 Posted 16 May 2013 Posted 16 May 2013 Malaga No chance Martinez will go to Malaga- he likes a supportive owner. Malaga's owner is mad
indierich06 Posted 16 May 2013 Posted 16 May 2013 He's got a small club with limited resources to the same point our manager has got a big club with big resources (for our division) .... for me he's therefore better than our current manager and he plays nice football ...... Tick Tick. Brighton have got quite a bit of money to throw around now and they've only just built the AMEX Stadium as well, you can hardly call them a small club. I wouldn't want him here to be honest, because he hasn't really proven he can do a better job than what we've already got at the moment. So many on here seem to be clamouring for autos next season - well he hasn't proved he can do that with Brighton, who've spent a fair bit of money over the past couple of seasons, so why would he do it here where he'd have to change so much for us play in his style? Plus, Brighton are possibly the diritiest team in the league, they cheat and foul their way through most of their matches and that's not the way I want Leicester to play.

leicesterisme Posted 16 May 2013 Posted 16 May 2013 He's got a small club with limited resources to the same point our manager has got a big club with big resources (for our division) .... for me he's therefore better than our current manager and he plays nice football ...... Tick Tick. Small club with litte resources... Are you sure?
BHAFC Braders Posted 16 May 2013 Posted 16 May 2013 The big rumour going round seems to be Poyet to fulham with Jol going the other way. Doubt it but we'll see , he's been desperate for Premiership football since we got promoted and if he wants to go then he just should already.

He's spent £5m on strikers alone, £1m+ on Lua Lua and had expensive loans like Bridge and Upson, they are hardly brassic. He's done a very good job, but people run Pearson down for achieving similar under us first time around.
