Pearson is already planning for next season

So you've sat through Levein, Kelly, Megson, Burrows, Worthington, Holloway and god knows who else over the last 10 years and this is where you're drawing the line. The only manager to get us in the playoffs. You my friend have a very strange sense of when to make a stand.

The past is the past we have new owners who had publicly said that premiership is the main aim and have put their money where their mouths are. The last ten years had no expectation whatso ever . Now we have had a golden opportunity with the amount of money provided only to see it all go tits up with a manager who only just scraped into the playoffs and even then only because Bolton fvcked up. You my friend have a very strange sense of what exactly is expectation.

Yep..and that'll be Roy Keane!

I'm pretty sure Roy Keane would rather be a manager than a glorified removal man

he needs to stay, no point going back to square 1, he has the respect from most players, its a shame for players like waghorn, he had a spell near christmas where he was quality, he had an opeation and went missing. he likes to do his business early so just let him get on with it, hopefully the group has learnt from that truley wank blip of about 17 games where we won about 2. players like knockaert will only get stronger.

That's it if these owners ambition amounts to keeping this third rate amateur as our manager then they are going to get all they deserve .He is box office poison thousands like me will have no interest in renewing our season tickets if captain hoofball remains at the helm. God it's such a depressing thought that this clown will still be in charge of our beloved club at the start of the season. :(:( :( :(

Alzheimer's? Sometimes, I really doubt the state of your sanity. You already refer to yourself as "thousands". That's very concerning. I usually either tend to ignore or poke fun at you and your silly rants, but here you've reached a new all-time low.

So much drivel, hatred and negativity aimed at one particular person...

On a more serious note, I'd be careful not to overdo it with personal insults.

Completely agree with this, the wheels completely fell off our campaign which Nigel is soley responsible for, I never buy into this blame the players, he chose them.  Nige needs to accept the reasons for the negativity.

Hopefully the young squad we have has grown up quickly and with some quality additions we could be a challenge. One of my biggest concerns is the managements ability of signing quality strikers, Defenders and midfielders appears to be ok, but Vardy, Kane, Futacs and Wood for me are lacking in ability.

Do you not think that possibly the type of players Nigel was able to go for was hampered by astronomical amounts of money wasted on players by previous managers?

Why do people keep harping on about FFP?  The amount of loop holes will be massive at the moment.  Plus if we spend big again in the summer and we go up next season, there is nothing the football league can do as we will be in the Prem.  All the FFP rubbish will do is edge teams in to voting for a Premier second tier which will in turn knacker the clubs in the bottom 2 divisions even further.

If our owners want to spend big amounts again in the summer then I am sure they will and already know where to cheat the new regulations.

Is it really worth yet another risk though?

God help us all if Pearson is making plans! He couldn't organise a piss up in the proverbial brewery.

Bloody "Pinochio" Pearson for another season, would be a nightmare!

Yeah I've notice when it comes down to insults on here it's all one way. You can challenge someones sanity and get away with it not to mention veiled threats ( I'd be careful if I were you ). As for ignoring me or poking fun at me you neither have the intelligence or the humour to do that. I said thousands like me will not be renewing I did not refer to myself as thousands. I can see why you would choose to ignore me you obviously have serious difficulty in reading my posts in the first place.

I would be careful threatening me if I were you.

Says the tripe specialist.

Erm insults ? I'd be careful if I were you.

I'm going to say this once only. When it comes to articulation, objectivity and grammar, I win.

Anybody can look at the majority of your posts, compare them to mine and come to the same conclusion. You have a history as a moaning git with one agenda: Trying to convince people that Pearson is as bad as you're trying to make him out to be.

I'm sorry that not everybody on here is as intelligent as you, but judging by your posting history, you tend to throw all your cleverness out of the window once you start typing.

You are the one making threats and silly statements, as if you're speaking for thousands of others. That's somewhat megalomaniac.

I'd be careful not to play the dumb card too often if I were you.

Great stuff, don't renew your season ticket - you and the other handful of frothing-at-the-mouth, ranting and raving anti-Leicester fans won't be missed.

There's a couple of clubs down the road that might suit you a bit better - Coventry or Derby perhaps?

I sat through those and as a club we were always underdogs as we had no money .... It was fun, they were OK managers trying to get the best out of OK players signed on a limited budget. Our expectation was low. A win felt great.

Now we have more resources. We have money. Life is different. Expectations are that with that money we should see better players coming in and playing better football and winning matches more often.

When the manager only delivers slightly better than average that's disappointing. It's a let down. It's deflating.

It wasn't, they were shit managers who played shit football and the top of the table (top half in most cases) was in another world.

Pearson's managerial career shows that he's saved two teams from relegation (Carlisle and Southampton), got us promoted as Champions from League One at the first time of asking, got us straight into the Championship playoffs and then returned to get us into the Championship playoffs again.

He perhaps did... but then if you look he was subsequently sacked on those occasions for getting the teams into that mess in the first place!

Sorry but those stats with us are actually pretty decent. I don't know what you think a good record is but rest assured Mourinho and Ferguson's PL win % of 65-70 is way, way, way above average.

You've also just said the guy who comfortably won the effing TITLE this season has only a marginally better % than NP in his second spell.

You obviously no nothing about percentages? 1% can make all the difference!!

Those stats are pretty damn good, you're just an idiot.

I'm the idiot?

And that's coming from someone who claims to have been a supporter since conception??

You're a joke.... Right??

It was a golden age ..... It coincided with me being at an age range (20s) that i could really dedicate time to going to every away game and really enjoying the football.

I'm never sure whether it's an age and responsibility thing, or that money has changed the game, but there's just not the same excitement anymore!!!!

Now that is for the owners to decide...

I expect the league to be a little more straight forward next season in terms of teams going for promotion and teams in the relegation fight.

The 3 teams coming down from the Prem will be up there next season, Bolton will be strong and there will still be another 2 teams from the play offs this season to contend with. I do not think that the 3 teams coming up from League 1 will be anywhere near as strong as certainly 2 of the 3 clubs that went down to League 1.

We definitely need better players to compete. Better players cost so we have no choice but to spend. The problem will be shifting out the shite who are on massively inflated wages and won't get the same anywhere else.

Except he didn't get them into that mess - he was called in to rescue them, the original manager who got them into the mess was sacked (Knighton at Carlisle and Burley at So'ton).
