The Exams Thread

Done my second psychology exam.

Went a little better than I thought it would be, but still not exactly promising.

I really struggle with the timing in exams, I tend to get lost in thought sometimes and then suddenly realised I've been staring at this girl for about 30 mins and fcuk the rest of the exam up as a result.

Maths next week is the big one. Fail that, and I'm ditching college.

Is the ultimatum I've given myself.

GCSEs or A Levels?

I found A Levels harder than this degree to be honest but I don't know if that was because of the teaching.

Good luck with the rest.

My brother makes me laugh, he's got 6 GCSE exams in the space of 5 days next week and he's upstairs playing away on games. He's either as cool as a cucumber or doesn't give a damn. Hope for his sake (mum's reaction) it's the former!

A-Levels. Final year at school. Final proper day next Thursday. End of an era

Had my Humanities and R.S. GCSE's today.

Thought I did alright.

My exam leave starts on May 22nd, yet including todays, I have 6 exams before exam leave starts, and then only 4 when I'm on the leave.

HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I'd rather have my exam leave later than everybody else than be a referee.

They go to the same school so I doubt he's laughing because he gets late exam leave. I don't think anyway

And why would you anyway?

That's nice.

I'd rather have gone to at least one Leicester game in my whole life than not but hey.

I'm joking with him :D:giggle:

One tomorrow due to my 21st being on Thursday last minute. Preparation only began yesterday. I am not quite bricking it but I am not confident.

It's the net interspet with FM and books.

Ahh the good old days; i miss them. Is that wrong missing the days of last minute cramming?

6 down, 9 to go in my GCSEs. All this not revising, calculated guess stuff is doing ok at the minute, well i hope

lol you can get away with it at GCSE, no chance at AS or A level I'm afraid though (apart from General Studies).

hopefully won't have to much, taking BTEC National Sport, which is all assignment based, and Biology, which I hope isn't as difficult as I have been told, but next year I really have to buck my ideas up :giggle:

Now got to the point where hopefully the questions come up the parts I've revised more. My urgency has been lowered because I've got my coursework results back this evening and achieved what's required. All merit marks but tbh, I wanted to do better.

Gotta make sure go Newmans tomorrow tho good luck. I visited Newmans before A-Levels results and got good results, then pre-Theory test on driving, then pre-Uni Year 1 exams.

English Literature in about an hour and a half. Would help if I had read the bloody book :(

To be honest, I tried to get away with not reading 'Tender is the Night', and watched the TV programme instead. Unfortunately both were crap.

It didn't work.

English Lit was the hardest GCSE for me. You've got to know the book, analyse the characters, contexts and all that shit - really not my kind of thing.

Just heard from a mate who had an exam yesterday and the fire alarm went off mid way through, they were told to go home and apparently they are all getting their average CW marks which were quite high for most of them! Anyone fancy setting off an alarm tomorrow about 10ish in the Birmingham area??

I would but I don't think I'll get up to Lincoln in time for 2pm in order to do my exam, that someone is hopefully setting a fire alarm off in.

Fair do's, thank you for the offer though! I would help you out too but I shall be well up on the waiting list for a liver transplant by 2PM.

Plan for tomorrow = -Last ever Exam + Lots of Alcohol + Big Johns

Yeah, we did Lord of the Flies. You really have to know the meaning of it, reading inbetween the lines. I enjoyed it to be honest even though the teacher was a bitch.
