Stadt Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Chelsea and Man City are tough games, can see one if not both winning.
ScouseFox Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 liverpool's home record this season is W14 D1 L1, including 5-1 vs Arsenal, 4-0 vs Everton & 4-0 vs Spurs in recent weeks. neither city or chelsea will be looking forward to going there, and jose can't go for a draw if he wants to win the league himself. edit to say suarez, sterling, sturridge & coutinho vs demichelis or terry etc? in the words of stevie g, all the best.
Poznan34 Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Would love it if Everton beat Arsenal to 4th. Martinez has done a fantastic job this season, quality manager.
Fox92 Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Would love it if Everton beat Arsenal to 4th. Martinez has done a fantastic job this season, quality manager. Apparently when Martinez went for the interview, the first thing he said was "I'll get you in the Champions League". And I hope he does get them there. Good manager, seems like a decent man, plays attractive football and I like Everton who have always been a decent, well run club.
Super_horns Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 What's the odds Gerrard misses a penalty or two for England in the World Cup.
xHamzah Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 9 wins in a row, 13 penalties, top of the league, fantastic football...Liverpool are just a shit Leicester City tbh
Fox92 Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 What's the odds Gerrard misses a penalty or two for England in the World Cup. It's alright, we won't get out of the group to be in that situation.
Toffee_Fox Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Everton fans booing Arteta for being fouled by Naismith! Come on Everton, you're normally a classy set of fans. 1-0 Everton. Naismith. Arteta was being booed for kissing his Arsenal badge when he scored vs Everton in the FA Cup game despite being applauded by our fans.
Jimothy Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Arteta was being booed for kissing his Arsenal badge when he scored vs Everton in the FA Cup game despite being applauded by our fans. Booing seemed to start right after the challenge and died down later in the game.
marko Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Hughton gone from Norwich. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26916661
Toffee_Fox Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Nah his name was booed pre-kick off, it got louder but died off as the game was pretty much won.
Jimothy Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Nah his name was booed pre-kick off, it got louder but died off as the game was pretty much won. Fair enough, I didn't hear the pre match booing but come to think of it I only walked back into the room as the subs came up on the screen.
Toffee_Fox Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 He got booed in the line ups that get announced during the warm up and the bit just before kick off, all stems from him kissing the Arsenal badge against us when most believed he wouldn't celebrate at all.
Corky Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Hughton gone from Norwich. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26916661 They are banking everything on beating Fulham. They'll probably get, at most, one point from the final four games. Lose at Fulham and they'll probably go. Win and safety should be just about assured, so it's the new manager uplift that's being desperately hoped for.
Stadt Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Why sack your manager with 5 games to go? Especially with their run in.
Jimothy Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Why sack your manager with 5 games to go? Especially with their run in. And when you about to play a major relegation rival in Fulham.
One Legged Beaver Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Not surprised at Hughton's sacking, may be a nice guy but he's doing an awful job.
Leicesterpool Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Well Hughton was to be gone no matter how they finished the season but I'm surprised it happened now! Quite risky i would say! Well both Neil Lennon and Malky Mackay are both favourite for the job, i think though i'd put money on it being Mackay.
StanSP Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 Norwich are weird. They say they sacked Hughton 'to give the club the maximum chance of survival'. What has their youth coach ever done to ensure that? Might as well just keep Hughton for that monstrous run-in and give him a chance!
Corky Posted 6 April 2014 Posted 6 April 2014 The new manager used to be the co-commentator on local radio, it's like Alan Young being put in charge He used to chair the post match phone in and had some belting debates: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqLsh9QtZMg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hzstl9KcDbY
