ScouseFox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 if the premier league started the day andy carroll returned from injury (11th jan, cardiff away) west ham would be 4th.
Haydos Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 I meant it from a point of view from a west ham fan. To them the north starts at Watford! Man up and admit you were wrong.
Grandad. Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Cannot see the bottom three changing. God knows what is going to happen with Liverpool, City and Chelsea, even I'm not ruling Chelsea out. Tough game for us away at West Ham, who seem to have hit some sort of form again, really wouldn't surprise me if Carroll did some damage. Hoping Southampton can carry on their good work at the Etihad and Stoke could hold out for a point v Chelsea.
Leicesterpool Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 There's reports that Christian Benteke as torn his achilles tendon and could be out for nine months! so could be no world cup for him then!
Father Ted Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 if the premier league started the day andy carroll returned from injury (11th jan, cardiff away) west ham would be 4th. This doesn't surprise me. I'd definitely take him to Brazil, he could offer something that no other striker in the world can. I have seen a couple of his recent performances for West Ham and centre backs sh*t their pants going up for headers with him or in to tackles with him.
AKCJ Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 "Rooney's not a world class player" - Joey Barton "The iPhone 5 isn't a world class phone" - Nokia 3210
foxes_rule1978 Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 "Rooney's not a world class player" - Joey Barton "The iPhone 5 isn't a world class phone" - Nokia 3210 but to be fair to Joey he wasn't talking about his talent but the way he conducts himself and general mentality... which I agree with, Rooney is world class but he isn't going to be the number one player in the world despite his talent...
MC Prussian Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Leicesterpool won't like this, but Benteke will sorely be missed for about half a year (ruptured Achilles tendon): http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/26878003 Ouch.
Super_horns Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Bad news for Villa and unlucky for him in terms of the World Cup.

davieG Posted 3 April 2014 Author Posted 3 April 2014 They've already been fined by the PL according to that article Sunderland immediately confessed and were fined under-radar by the Premier League board in December. Although it is understood that the fine is substantial, fellow relegation strugglers will believe that the integrity of the Premier League has been questioned. They don't appear to have been punished for the Cup games though.Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2596295/Sunderland-rocked-emerges-North-East-club-fielded-Ji-ineligible.html#ixzz2xqqhdyss Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook

Not sure a few teams will be too happy about it if they stay up.

Already mentioned this on the other page, yep a massive blow for Villa plus I feel sorry that he's going to miss the world cup aswell.

If that is the case then a points deduction will surely relegate them.
Dan Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 It's not going to be like Sheff Utd/Tevez again is it where everyone gangs up on West Ham, before everyone bar Sheff Utd (who went down) ditches it
Grandad. Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 I know in my head I am finding ways of Southampton getting something v City, can anyone else?
Stuliasz Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 Jay Rodriguez just carried off with what looks like a serious knee injury. I see him as our main hope of Andy Carroll not being in the squad so lets hope it's not as bad as it looks.
Swarles Barkley Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 That is probably one of the worst linesman decisions ive ever seen. How was it not offside??

It's Lambert who'll have the best chance of keeping Carroll out.
StanSP Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 Gazzaniga is awful. Would hate to have him as our goal-keeper.
