isaidno Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Said it so many times but this game proves again why we have nothing to fear next season. It's been dreadful. Lacked any quality.
leicesterisme Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 It's been dreadful. Lacked any quality. Woeful, they're struggling to string a couple of passes together
casablancas Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Who is this vergini lad? Haha. Not really impressing at all. Mind you Sunderland are not at all a premier league quality team. There's only Adam Johnson who I'd take

Corky Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 I do wonder if Sam Allardyce wasn't a northerner he'd get the same amount of stick he gets now from the west ham fans? They seem to despise Andy Carroll with all their chants about him.
Super_horns Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Think that might be it for Sunderland with games against Spurs (well ok probably a chance then),Man U/City, Everton and Chelsea to come. Now your all but up who would you prefer to stay up/go down?

Now your all but up who would you prefer to stay up/go down? From an attending point of view I'd want Fulham to stay up, Cardiff, Sunderland to go down. Quality wise there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference between the bottom nine or so clubs, the quality has got worse as the more money is spent.
Leicesterpool Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 I can see Sunderland surviving despite tonight's result, i find it difficult to see Norwich surviving they certainly do look poor.
Kitchandro Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Surely we're better than those 2? Fvck me there was hardly any quality whatsoever. The midfielders are all journeymen or ball winners, there was no guile at all. I can't wait to see how our boys do against some of these sides. There are some really poor sides in the Premiership. Norwich for example have barely been in the bottom 3 yet I can hardly remember them winning or any of their strikers scoring.
Guest ttfn Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Sunderland will need to win those last 3 home games to stand any chance whatsoever. I'm amazed they have repeatedly failed to stabilise in the Premier League. They are one of only about 7 or 8 clubs that routinely get 40,000+. They should be like Everton - the second largest side in a football mad region with loads of fans and a steady top flight history. But in the last 40 years, they've spent 21 seasons outside the top flight. By comparison, Coventry have only spent about 10 and we've only been out of it for 22.
Corky Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 I can see Sunderland surviving despite tonight's result, i find it difficult to see Norwich surviving they certainly do look poor. I can't see Sunderland getting 7 more points than Norwich given their remaining matches.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Cardiff, I definitely want them to go, but I would say they have the best chance of staying up out of the bottom 3. The Sunderland v Cardiff game back end of April will be huge. Fulham, forget it, they are gone. I reckon WBA Sunderland and Fulham to go
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Want Norwich to stay up as it's an easy away game for me but think they might go down. Again geographically Wba I hope stay up too although I dont dislike Sunderland either. Think Fulham, Cardiff and Wba will go
Dan Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 I've got a feeling it'll be Fulham, Sunderland & Norwich. I can see Cardiff dragging themselves out of it. There's going to be some serious 'staying up by default' going on here. Anyone seen that handball incident from Nolan? I'm sorry but something dodgy is going on here. Howard Webb has a completely clear view of it, it's a blatant, deliberate handball - no penalty? The sheer consistency of these mind blowingly ridiculous decisions makes me suspect something dodgy is going on and I'm deadly serious.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Fulham Sunderland Cardiff or Norwich or West Brom Going to be bloody tight this season again

The fact van wolfswinkel scored on the opening day of the season then never again is beyond belief. Awful team
kingcarr21 Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 dressing room bust up at west brom with berahino getting a head injury. I missed MOTD at weekend so didnt see his mistake but sounds like West Brom are truly going off the rails. Can see them getting relegated.
