SmithyFox12 Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Lee Martin has signed for Millwall on a free transfer.
RizLCFC Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Wigan want Fortune from West Brom, he's a free agent, would love it if he came here.
Lambert09 Posted 5 July 2013 Author Posted 5 July 2013 Shane Ferguson is signing on loan for brum again, would have loved him at left back for us this year.
Eyescratcher Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Watford have signed Abdi,Pudil,Anya,Battocchio,Cassetti,Ekstrand,Angella,Faraoni,McGugan,Ikpeazu and Acuna on loan and they're still only 12/1 at the bookies. Unbelievable!! Transfer embargo my ar$e!!
SmithyFox12 Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Watford have signed Abdi,Pudil,Anya,Battocchio,Cassetti,Ekstrand,Angella,Faraoni,McGugan,Ikpeazu and Acuna on loan and they're still only 12/1 at the bookies. Unbelievable!! Transfer embargo my ar$e!! They're close to signing most of those, none are definite yet... as Sky Sports have just revealed... Here's more on the story we brought you earlier, with Sky Sports sources of the understanding that Watford are are close to signing eight players on permanent deals. Marco Cassetti, Joel Ekstrand, Ikechi Anya, Daniel Pudil and Almen Abdi, all of whom spent last season on loan at Vicarage Road, are poised to sign for the Championship club on a permanent basis.
Lambert09 Posted 5 July 2013 Author Posted 5 July 2013 Well we should now be adding Watford to that list of serious title contenders. Is this seasons championship going to be the most competitive yet? Its looking that way. I cant see this being our year
XLM Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Championship might just be the toughest it's ever been this year. All 3 relegated sides still look very strong, and clubs like Forest who didn't even make the play-offs last season are doing some serious bits in the transfer market!
Guest Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Championship might just be the toughest it's ever been this year. Every single year we trot out this statement. Every single year pre season predictions are out the window by about November.
DaveJones Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Thought Watford can sign players from different leagues just not their own?
Long Eaton Fox Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 It will be interesting to see what transfer fees are paid if any. If they are all free, it will make it easy to comply with FFP. Another possible loophole exploited by watford. Plus they could sell for the true value at a later date.
Danno Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Another player missed out on , cheers Sven and Neville you fvcking useless *****
Bausor Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Fortune has showed he can hit the net in this league during his loan spell
Tielemans63 Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 So he's a pen friend he don't really know you but feels sorry for you cos you support watford. And you say he may not be very bright lol Think he was taking the piss there fella. You've walked right into it.
Libertine Dream Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Watford have signed Abdi,Pudil,Anya,Battocchio,Cassetti,Ekstrand,Angella,Faraoni,McGugan,Ikpeazu and Acuna on loan and they're still only 12/1 at the bookies. Unbelievable!! Transfer embargo my ar$e!! It's not a transfer embargo. All it means is the FA have to sanction each transfer after supposedly looking into it because of their edgy dealings under previous owners
Moosedog Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 They're close to signing most of those, none are definite yet... as Sky Sports have just revealed... The players have tweeted that Battocchio has signed for three years, Pudil for four years, Cassetti for one year, also Abdi has signed this evening, Angella has signed permanent as has Faraoni as will Romero, Fabbrini and Acuna will be on loan. From official site this evening Almunia has signed for another year and McGugan has also signed.
Danizen Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Anya is definitely capable of playing in the Premier League. Hopefully he gets a big offer.
Moosedog Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Anya is definitely capable of playing in the Premier League. Hopefully he gets a big offer. To be honest I dont think Anya would get in the side ahead of Faraoni
ronnup Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Shane Ferguson is signing on loan for brum again, would have loved him at left back for us this year. Agreed. Bit annoyed with that. Hope we've hot something in the pipe line.
Danizen Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 To be honest I dont think Anya would get in the side ahead of FaraoniReally? You must have seen him play many times to form such a positive opinion.
The Doctor Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Marc Tierney, Rob Hall, Beckford & Baptiste... Raheem Sterling on loan and Jordan Rhodes also heavily linked. Bolton mean business. Why have bolton signed bilo? Oh, and unless Bolton have found wads of cash from somewhere they won't get Rhodes - £8m last summer and a very good season, Blackburn won't let him go cheap, especially not to bolton.
Guest Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Anya is definitely capable of playing in the Premier League. Hopefully he gets a big offer. I'd agree based on the few times we played em last season. Genuinely thought he was a very good player
